Anyone here got any know-how on these ignition modules? I just installed
one and I can't get my bike to start and I have it set on stock
settings... 0 initial timing, tried multi and single spark mode, and
5600 rpm. My bike just has mild mods so the sucker should work.

I guess what I'm wondering is would there be any reason with a fairly
stock bike to do any offset timing adjustments to the module?

Double check the wiring. Something may have come loose.

But was I right?
Or did you plonk down $340 bucks and lost it because yer an idiot that
can't install a gizmo?

Think about it, cupcake!
1) YOU bought a thing!
2) YOU installed it!
3) Thing don't work when YOU installed it!
4) YOU are upset!
5) YOU PAID $340.
6) YOU didn't read the instructions.. or
7) YOU installed it wrong
8) YOU Post/Write here on usenet for help
9) YOU didn't say you wrote to the company you bought it from for
information for help FIRST! (why not?)

10) YOU forgot to turn the gas on, dummy!

After all, if YOU installed it "properly", then why post here instead of
contacting the people that made it first?

The joke is on you.

Please be honest and let us all know what the outcome truly was.

Look punk. I installed it properly and when the bike didn't start I
reinstalled the old ignition and the bike fired up. I was simply asking
for some practical advice.
I live in Nashville where do you live?

Good for it, and you.

Earth.

And I never added crap to a perfectly working bike.
YOU STILL refuse to call the company and ask THEM what YOUR mental
proplem is.

Why is that?

YOU never mentioned the model or year motorcycle you have.

Why is that?

Were you born with an extreme mental deficiency?

Maybe you didn't hear the news BOY but Crane just closed their doors.
That's why.
What is your problem?

Look, I don't like arguing online and I'm not asking you for anything
from a worm like you.
If you are ever in Nashville just drop by the AOA clubhouse and ask for
Billy and I'll tell you the make and model.

Sounds like you got a DOA ignition module. Contact the people you bought
it from.

Bought it on ebay. It was a new ignition but I just found out Crane
closed their doors. I think it is DOA.
But it has a timing dial on it that some people use and I was hoping to
get some advice on that before throwing it in the trash.
But thanks dude.

Where you born retarded, or did you become a mental midget at a later date?

I have no problems.

Apparently, YOU have a few, poofter! :)

Is yer bike running yet?

Wise choice, as I am your superior.

You are from Tennesse.
YOU need all the help you can get!

I rode into and out of there a few times.... at very high speed.

That's all I needed to know that I would never want to be there again.

Yer a hick that bought a simple part you can't hook up!

I see!

Register a complaint thru ebay's customer service . Whether Crane is in
business or not , they SHOULD force the seller to make it good . If you used
paypal and a debit/credit card , you might also register a complaint with
your card provider . They'll likely make you kill that card and get a new
one , but for that kinda money , I'd do it . You might also check out the
folks at HarleyTechTalk , might have to sign up to get access to their
forums , but there'r some VERY knowledgeable people there .
BTW , "DalePeters" AKA Panhead is one of our resident trolls , and has
nothing better to do than suck on a booze bottle 24/7 and piss people off .
We often find his bullshit amusing , in a sick and perverted kinda way .
Ping me if'n you get over Memphis way , the reply-to is good .

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!

Dang!
THE MORE you post, the more stump stupid you ultimately become when
the real truth about you comes out!

My sides are aching due to hysterical laughter!

SoBe paid too much for a stupid broken thing that was NOT made for his
bike in the first place on EBAY, and now he's upset!

OH be still my heart!

I might need a new kidney, as it aches so much!

SoBe?
I will do a search on EBAY for a new kidney, as one of of mine is ready
to burst... and maybe a spleen!

Yer a riot!

S&S bought Crane, try givin' them a holler... can't hurt. I'd suspect
whoever ya bought it from fuckered it up tho. At least that's what
S&S might say. Still worth a call.

Idiots!

I can't stop laughing out loud while you defend that "SoBe a retard"!

Now you know why I never got stung from buying crap from Ebay or other
places.

None of you (including him) STILL knows what bike he owns, or what he
bought that crane unit for!

He is THE SOFA KING Mo Ronical.

He appears to own and ride a Harley though, which is why he's here. What's
your excuse?
