I think if you used a really tender sounding name, like " The Daisy Tenders",
or "Warm Pastel Plaid Tones" that you wouldn't get jacked up. Even if they are
"taken".
Realistically tho. wearing colors is a whole new adventure in some parts.
Maybe if you all get matching stick on tatoos, and not have a bunch of stuff
all over the back of your jackets while you "test the waters".
Also, what kind of a "Bike Club" has "avoiding trouble" as one of it's main
precepts?
You might want to do some rethinking...

Despite AZ HA's thoughts, Rolling Thunder is NOT an M/C. Very long personal story
there.
My favorite is still Dikes on Bikes................

That is an understatement. Some of the Arizona M/C's are extremely territorial. I
hear in Austrailia even HOG is not allowed to wear back patches without fear of
reprisal.

Oh. Since it sounds like you're hep on it, How would a guy get ahold of a group of
old iron to travel from say Portland OR to the Rolling Thunder thing this Summer? I
have a nephew that's graduating the NavAcad there about that time.
Once I got there, I'd be fine, was stationed at AAFB in the 70s. ( Non combat)
Thanks.

Where are you from?
The reason I ask is if I remember correctly, there is (was?) a local WMC
that is called Women in the Wind.
Local to me is Santa Cruz CA. You from this area?
We also have Sweet Evil WMC out of Soquel. Jan V. is the P. Then there are
the Devil Dolls MC out of... uhh, San Fran? Oakland? Jessica (a.k.a. "Goth
Girl") is the P.
Trivia: The Devil Dolls are the *only* Women's Motorcycle Club in the USA
(probably in the world) that are Sanctioned.
And to the other guy that mentioned "Dikes on Bikes WMC".... it's not
*Dikes* on Bikes, it is *Dykes* on Bikes. There *is* a difference. <G> They
are out of San Francisco if I'm not mistaken.

I live in the Las Vegas area. I dont know if there are any more Women in the
Wind club members left. Either they quit or changed over to the S.L.O.B.S.
Juice
There was a writeup on them in The Horse Backstreet Choppers,
just 2 issues ago.

They have a website. If they ever get online ordering, I may
get their latest calendar.

Oh yeah? I'll have to see if I can find a issue. Was the article any good?
I run across Jessica quite a bit. I should be seeing her pretty soon at a
meet up north.

I thought they already had on-line ordering on their website. I haven't
visited it in awhile but that's what I thought. I saw Jessica not too long
ago at the last SF MMA swapmeet hawking the new calendar so I know they are
in print and on sale. I don't know if you have ever heard of a girl called
"Thug-girl" on HeD, but she hangs out with the BMF crowd (JW, bobc, Dr.
Steve, et al). Her name is Cheri/Sherri and she hangs around with the Devil
Dolls. She had her photo on the DDWMC website last time I visited it. I tell
ya what. If a girl/woman could be considered a "hard core biker".... then
Thug-girl is *it*! She's a tough cookie and a good kid. I like her allot.
Oh, and BTW... if you knew who Jessica's old man is you'd know why they are
the only sanctioned Women's MC in the US!

Pretty good, actually. And going through my stash, turns out
it was more like 5 issues ago! Issue 15 has the article on the DDMC.
Issue 17 has an article by Goth Girl titled "Goth Girl at Laughlin".
> I thought they already had on-line ordering on their website.
Nah. It's one of those "print the order form and send a check
or money order". With the cost of International money orders here,
plus the shipping back to Canada, duty, etc, it's just not worth it
for me.

You can see it on their website too.

Can't see her anywhere. However, issue 16 of THBC has a very
good article on California Choppers (Frisco) in it. On the cover is a
girl riding behind "Rudy". Once you open the cover, you see her
standing with a "Thug Girl" t-shirt. Now, I do realize that they sell
the "Thug" brand of clothing, so it could mean nothing, but it might
be her! I believe it's the same girl in the article that has a
picture of her with the name "Heather".

Well, the website gives an idea who he migh be with! They
have a link to Free Rusty, amongst others...
Contacting a local patch club would be a start, at least for "None" to learn
some of the protocol involved. However, IMHO, he better also check in with
his area COC (Confederation of Clubs). It ain't just the club name that
could prove troublesome to him -- the patch design may be an area of concern
as well.

There is a group called the 'committee of colors'. If you are for real about
it. Any patchholder can get your pres in touch with them. Really they are
just a bunch of lawers trying to keep all of us from getting into trouble. But
some COC's are really ran well.
There is also a difference between a M/C club and a riding club. A M/C club
has a 3 part patch with the 'area of control' as the bottom rocker. Riding
clubs normally dont get the same type of grief that M/C clubs go through. If
you have your town or city/county as the bottom rocker you will only catch
some, but if you try to run a state rocker with out the proper 'channels' being
gone thru...well make sure your will is in order.
Not just AZ people are territorial about this, ALL clubs are. Its not just a
state thing.
There has been a lot of heat about the HA and the Outlaws war. So you might
not get noticed by big clubs unless you live in a club part of town. But going
somewhere like Sturgis, Daytona flying colors will draw attention. Lots of
members dont always fly, but the club is just a phone call away. You dont want
to be hanging out at your fav watering hole and in walk 20 HA's or Bandidos
looking for your ass.
The main thing here is respect. Show it and it will be shown, ignore it...and
well.
I hope that I havent pissed anyone off by explaining this.
> There is a group called the 'committee of colors'.
I know it as the Confederation of Clubs, but I think we're talking about the
same group. The COC has some lawyers, but it's membership comes mainly from
motorcycle clubs.
> There is also a difference between a M/C club and a riding club. A M/C

When a club wears a patch, it'll definitely get attention ... no matter
whether they call it M/C or R/C, and no matter how many "parts" their patch
has. Some of the attention may not be all that favorable, depending upon
the club's name and design of the patch.
>If you have your town or city/county as the bottom rocker you will only
catch some, but if you try to run a state rocker with out the proper

Might vary from one state to another, but (generally) ANY location rocker is
indicative of claiming territory. FWIW, some folks in some clubs take this
very seriously.
> The main thing here is respect. Show it and it will be shown, ignore
it...and well.>
Damn good advice ... and it's still best to check with the COC *before*
ordering patches for a new club.

She's still there. Go to the DDMC website and click on the Rogues Gallery.
Thug-girl is the 3rd picture down in the left side column. And I also see
that there's a picture of Jessica with her old man.... his name isn't used
in the caption, she just has a photo of her with "a legend". See if you know
who he is.

It might be her. In the picture on the DD website she has a Thug-girl
sweatshirt on.

That wouldn't be her. Her name is Cheri or Sheri. I'm not sure of the
spelling but that's how it sounds. But most people just call her Thug Girl!

Yer on the right track, just head farther north and across the bay from the
DDMC's home town.
When you check out the pictures in the Rogues Gallery and take notice of a
picture of "lil Cisco" pictured in the left column... if that ain't enough
of a hint, I can't help ya out!
And another thing. Pictures don't do Goth Girl justice. She is a *good*
looking lady. I'm not into the Goth look but you can tell she's a good
looker under all that make-up. She has a beautiful figure too. Tall and
slender with her hair in a braid all the way down to her ass. And she rides
her ass off too.
