Took the MSF Beginner Rider's Course (BRC) this weekend (25th,26,27th).
First time on two wheels, went from no skills on two wheels to acceptable.
As soon as the BMV opens Tuesday, I will take the paperwork in and get my
'M' certification and off of the learner's permit. Still need lots of
practice, planning on getting a two small two wheeler in addition to my
'glide/sidecar combo. Only blew the double U turn test, and squeeked by on
retest.

We were using bike donated to ABATE and provided for our use.. Most of them
have been used rather severly. But I got one of the few new ones they had
for this year. It only had about 70 mi. on it when we started and hadn't
been dropped or dinged yet. It was a Suzuki 250 cc. A rather small street
bike, but surprisely quick for such a small bike. I gave it's brakes a
workout though, stopping it's and my wieght for the "quick" stops.
It still had no dings when I was done.
