I ran a 650 Savage for a couple months to get my feet wet before I bought my
Sportster. It rode and ran great. Sold it first day in the paper too.

Wife used to ride a Honda Shadow VLX (1988 I think, 600cc). It had a 25"
seat height and was advertised as having the lowest seat height on any
production bike (not sure if it's still true or even was then - but that was
the claim).

She now rides a Fat Boy and can flat-foot without lowering the bike (she's
5'1"). The Heritage Classic is essentially the same bike so I'm guessing
that would fit too.

She rode a Sporty (XL883C) but that needed to be lowered around 2 " front
and back (White brothers kits) and she still needed to wear boots with high
heels.

She sat on a Low Rider and that fit her too as it came from the factory but
she didn't like the bike (riding position).

Did you ever notice that when you put the two words "The" and "IRS"
together, it spells "THEIRS"?

Try painting it a girly color and letting the air out of the tires... That
is what my Yamaha owner's manual suggests... If all else fails, nail some
blocks of wood to the bottoms of your shoes. (You may consider taking them
off your feet 1st, but the call is yours. Live dangerously right...?)
