I have an 1980 Honda Hawk Hondamatic CM400 that has developed the
following problem. When I start it col I use the choke at full, then
reduce to 3/4 for a minute or two then its usually fine. Today I put
it on full, it didnt seem to want to start at all then finally it did
but died out, I shut the choke off, and started it by giving some gas
a little, once warmed up it was great as usual as far as running.
When I tried the choke with it in neutral on full it kills the engine
out, with it like 1/2 it gives a little more revving but not like
before. I have located the cable which isnt more than a few years
old, and it looks like it adjusts by sliding the clip that holds the
sheath. Can someone tell me which was to do it, and how to do it
properly. Thanks very much from a newbie
Chris
