Nevada does not require a smog on bikes. Testing is not a problem, but we only
accept motorcycle licence transfers from 14 other states (not sure of which off
the top of my head). The test is not hard, but I recommend you take it on the
smallest bike you can (displacement). By the way, which part of N. NV are you
moving to?

And stop trying to knock the only state where you can LEGALLY bang a
prostitute, gamble, marry/divorce someone at a drive-thru window all in one
night. Morals?! What the hell are those?!? Oh! And you can take your son to a
brothel when he turns 16 legally. Its a great atmosphere for those of us who
are in high school.

I moved from Massachusetts to Nevada with a Mass. car and motorcycle
license. When I went to get a Nevada license the lady behind the counter
asked me how many moving violations I had received in the last 10 years.
Having had many I just said: "I'm not sure, I think 2" She then glanced at
the screen in front of her then back at me and started to list the dates
and types of moving violations I received in the last 10 years. These
tickets were from a couple different states but she saw every one of them
on her screen. If you have more than 3 (like I did) you will need to take
the written test again for your car license. If your motorcycle license is
from one of the many states that don't transfer to Nevada (like
Massachusetts) you will need to take both the motorcycle written and
driving test. The written test was easy but the driving test is tricky if
you have a big bike. Just remember: if your foot leaves the peg, it's a
point off, if your foot touches the ground, it's another point off. Then
of course you have to stay within the lines and not knock over any cones.

There is no smog test for motorcycles in Nevada.

Here in Arizona, a motorcycle course test is observed. It's pretty
easy, if you don't have a Hardly or a Gulled Wing. Those owners borrow
real motorcycles to take the test.

If the AZ test is the same as NV I don't think its possible for a Hardly or
Wing to pass the driving course test, even on my 900RR it was tight.
