Ye gods, look up "Sport Tourer" in the dictionary and there will be a
picture of a shiny red '94 VFR750 beside it. This bike was built from the
ground up as a sport tourer, unlike the late '80s VFR750, which was a
race-replica bike.

The engine is tuned for smooth power with lotsa useable torque, not a
razor-thin powerband like many race-replica bikes have.

I ride a '96 F3, but after doing a couple of painful 300-mile days
recently, I have REALLY started looking at the VFR as my next bike.

So what's the latest word on the upcoming VFR850?
