Damn. No doubt the guy was running from the law after taking out the
motorcyclist. If he was messed up enough (drunk, etc) to not notice an R6
embedded under his bumper, he wouldn't have made it 2 blocks let alone 20.
No, he was running for a reason. Probably a warrant for something
significant.
I hope the cops got him safely to jail. Sometimes those guys have a tendency
to resist, though, which is an awful shame.

I have a neighbor that is a deputy sheriff. He says it is pretty usually
pretty funny when someone "resists". Generally there are more than enough
LEO's to deal with the situation, but they just tazz the perp, and get a
laugh over coffee later. Usually something like ten cops, one 150 pound bad
guy resisting. Bring out the tazzer!
He tells me some good stories over the back yard fence every so often.

Slipping into my Andy Rooney persona for a moment...
"Did ya ever notice how nothing good ever follows the word 'multiple'?
As in, "Sir: You have the right not to fall down the jailhouse stairs and
suffer multiple fractures, sprains, and contusions........"
I just got off of the phone with my buddy who is a Seattle cop, I'm curious
to see if knpws anything anout this.
Well it was posted in 2004. That's about all I noticed.
You live in Cali and haven't heard of that fine mathematical operator
followed up by the term "orgasm?"
Really Peter, I think it's time you dumped the NGs and attended some
parties. Banjos will only take you so far.

I was a working musician in that same State during the late 60s and all of
the 70s. Went to school at Berzerkley. Any other silly questions?
(Besides, in my experience the word "orgasm" as modified by "multiple"
applies exclusively to women. "Dual" would have fit me from time to time,
but "multiple", never.)
And before you go there, I don't believe that it ever applied to *you*,
either.

I'm a musician: parties either come to *me*, or else I'm paid to attend them
and provide entertainment.
It's a tough life, but hey; somebody's got to do it.
Not to sound too calloused to the rider but I can't think of a more
fitting end to and Yammi R6.

I hear some stories like that myself. Even without the taser, resisting
arrest pretty much never results in actually avoiding arrest. You ARE
getting arrested. It's a just a question of how nicely you want to have it
done. If you want to get beat up, most cops are will oblige in the
performance of their duties.
Bob, I ride a damn R6 and while you may not like the bike, that is beyond
uncalled for...

Oh come on now; we all know Bob hates R6/R1's etc.
And he is riding a Yami now!
Ahh... I didn't notice that. Anyways he said the intersection was outside
of city limits.
