I think I saw it at the store today, some lady with no kids
had it. Apparently patience needs a lot of sleep, and prefers
to bunk with people who are getting at least 9 hours a night.
Or, come to think of it, maybe that was MY patience she
had... I haven't seen MINE in about, oh, five years. %^/

It's going around. I've looked everywhere for mine.. The closest I've come
to finding it was at the bottom of a glass of wine. abbyj

It *certainly* hasn't made it over my way, I was about to ask people if they
could spare any!

Ummm patience, patience....

Isn't that the name of a girl in one of those classic kids books?

Now if you can find my memory, we'll be even. :)

I propose a trade.

I have tons of Summer Holiday patience. I could stay home with the
kids for a year of Summers. But once they start back to school,
I lose my patience completely. It's always something when it's
term-time:
bring in this, the teacher wants that, volunteer for this, Mrs. Karr
come in immediately, your daughter is running 102 F, Mom, they want
me to sing Christmas Carols, what do I do; hours and hours of homework
and no time to play, leaving older daughter ragged and headachy,
etc. I worry all day while they're at school, and all afternoon
and evening we cope with school-related issues. So the Summer
is a brief, idyllic respite from 'all that'.

Anyone want to trade patience with me?

If memory serves...I think during the roughest time of labor I traded
everything to God for a healthy baby! All I know is I haven't seen it
since then! I think I'll work on phrasing my trades alittle differently
from now on!

We are fortunate to have excellent schools here, which is good....
I don't think I'd make an adequate teacher for them, and they do
love school. It's I who can't stand it ;-)
