I have a train set that I bought for the kids 20 years ago, and barely
used. I think it's time to put it up for sale. Probably the priciest
part is the engine. HO gauge. It's a diesel engine with Burlington
Northern and in large size 6147 inscribed on it.Green and black. I don't
see a mfger, but do see SD 9 in a small box on the side. If this train
ran more than 100 times around the loop, I'd be surprised. It still
works. I set it up on a 4x8' plywood sheet. I vaguely recall $150 for
the engine. There are several houses, maybe two semaphores, and a switch
or two. It's hanging from the ceiling in the garage. I'd like to get
some estimate of the price. or whether this collectible. I understand
some HO trains have gone digital. Comments?
