I know there was some discussion of this in these ng's awhile back, but I
would like to know which printers worked best and which decal film you had
your best luck with. Thanks....

If you can find one, and the ink, the best ever for home computers would be the ALPS MD-1000 Microdry printer. It's the only printer I know of that will print an opaque white. When I was making custom decals, I ordered my decal paper from Tango Papa Decals (http://www.tangopapadecals.com). Never had any complaints. Failing the Alps, almost any decent inkjet printer, with the appropriate inkjet decal paper can be used, but you need to remember that inkjet and laser printers a) do not print white, and b) have transparent tinted ink for printing on white paper. If you print up some beautiful yellow lettering and get it onto a black tender, it will disappear...
