John,

If memory serves, that unit went out of production back in the
'70s or early 80s. Few parts are available for it now. It also
might be the unit that was recalled by Coleman for CO leaks in the
roof jack / heat exchanger. Do yourself a favor and replace the
unit with a new furnace AND ROOF JACK!!! The new furnaces are not
compatible with the old roof jacks (chimney). The new furnaces
are reasonbly price and more efficient than the older ones.

Hello,
I looked in our service manual book and found the old one for the 8645D.
This is dated 9-67. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR OR SERVICE THIS FURNACE. THEY
ARE VERY OLD, MOST LIKELY NO PARTS AND I THINK THIS IS THE SAME MODEL THAT
COLEMAN RECOMMENDED NO REPAIRS BE MADE ON. LIABILITY ISSUES BEING WHAT THEY
ARE TODAY YOU SHOULD NOT WORK ON ANY FURNACE UNLESS YOU ARE LICENSED,
INSURED AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!
