Rock Star is a family business. Michael "Savage" Weiner helped
formulate the drink, drawing on his long-time background as a botanist
and herbalist. Wife and mother, Janet Weiner handles Rock Stars
finances.

"Very sweet! Taste like Fruit Punch!"
"...if you like Tahitian Treat or Hawaiian Punch, this one may be up
your alley"
Caffeine Content
In the UK, Rockstar Energy Drink contains 160mg caffeine per 500ml
can, requiring it to display the warning: "THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS
CAFFEINE. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN, PREGNANT OR
BREASTFEEDING WOMEN OR INDIVIDUALS SENSITIVE TO CAFFEINE." This also
appears on the American 473 ml can (16 fl/oz). There is also a version
in America of the flavor fruit punch. It is called "Rockstar Punched".
The Punched flavor has 240mg of caffeine. In Australia there is a
limited release flavor called Booty Patrol. It has fruity blend
flavor.
Alcoholic Version
Several alcoholic versions of Rockstar are available. In Canada three
varieties are sold, one under the name "Rockstar + Vodka", and another
named "Rockstar + Vodka/Pomegranate", with both having an alcohol
content of 6.9% by volume. The third Canadian variation, called
"Rockstar + Vodka Light," has a slightly lower alcohol content at 6.6%
by volume, and also contains less sugar than the other alcoholic
variations. In Canada the legal drinking age is 19 years in most
provinces, and 18 in others, thus the name difference for the products
marketed to Canada (the American version is called "Rockstar 21," an
implicit reference to that country's drinking age).
Corporate Charity
In June 2006, Rockstar donated $50,000 to the Special Operations
Warrior Foundation in support of their college scholarship program.

They are appealing to a certain market. Like cigerettes, once sold,
their targets will be "like a rock $tar!" for life. The next

You can't discuss much with the indoctrinated. But once fascists
weren't only liberal... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
Michael Weiner is both a radio preformer and corporate player. He
sells alot more than opinions. But the rhetoric is to only show
"liberal fascists" and "liberal consumers". It's unpatriotic to point
out Michael [Savage] Weiner as a fascist market exploition of the
young and vulnerable. Addictive qualities of sweet caffiene is also a
taboo subject. Making the Weiner family rich is what it's about.
"Dr" herbalist Weiners create a "perfect" product and they have all
the marketing and PR connections. The "Savage" voice doesn't have to
confront childrens health issues directly or ever mention setting up
Russell to run Rockstar. There are alot of horrible things going on in
medicine and over medicating children and adults, he can make points
with that. I didn't hear his excuses for berating autistic children, I
did hear one of his apologists, he was full of cr@p. Weiner is a
corporate shill disguised as entertainment and opinion. The market
place rules. Even if ppl become addicted or die, the market place
rules. That's the value system for all corp shills.
Tatted up daddy Travis Barker is suing RockStar energy drink for

BevNET Review:
Rockstar's entry into the "punch" energy drink subcategory is a good
one in terms of both packaging and flavor. The flavor is sweet but
crisp, with a more tropical style fruit punch flavor that hides almost
all of the energy flavor in the drink. On the other hand, the bright
red color is a bit much for our liking. Packaging features Rockstar's
standard 16 ounce can, which has been decorated with a hip looking
black, red, and gold color scheme. In our opinion, this is their best
work to date in terms of looks and flavor -- definitely worth a try.
"Truly unique drink in taste. It literally tastes JUST like fruit
punch. I'm not sure how they managed to cram all the usual ingredients
and keep the taste normal. I'm a little skeptical actually. The drink
claims 250mg of caffeine like Rockstar Zero Carb, but the effects
don't even come close to what 250mg should do, or what Zero Carb DOES
do. How factual is their ingredients label?"

"...Michael Savage, a perversion of the radio art, as he panders to
the corporate greed that currently grips radio in America."
"...he was a friend of beat poet Allen Ginsberg, the very, very out
gay author of Howl. In a 1970 letter to Ginsberg, someone signed
Michael Weiner described a semi-erotic encounter he had had with
another man in Fiji. Weiner says he did not write the letter, though
the return address was in Honolulu, where Weiner resided at the
time."

He launched the show in the Bay Area in 1994 and went national three
years ago. Since then it's been picked up by 300 stations across the
country. He boasts about 5 million listeners. [2003]
Talkers magazine, which follows the talk radio industry, listed Savage
as the fifth most popular host in the country, behind only Limbaugh,
Sean Hannity,
Dr. Laura Schlessinger and Howard Stern.
"...Eventually, the tribal chiefs turned on Charles Savage, killed him
and all of his children, and boiled his bones because they didn't want
his spirit to return to earth, Michael Savage says.
...Through the 1980s, Savage wrote nearly 20 books with such titles as
"The Complete Book of Homeopathy," "The Guide to Herb Medicine" and
"Maximum Immunity."
...During this period, he sought a professorship. "It was painful," he
says. "White men need not apply. I received 'drop dead' letters from
universities because I was not black, or Hispanic, or a woman."
...On radio tours for his books, he gained an understanding of the
medium. In 1994, when KSFO launched as one of the nation's only
conservative talk radio stations, the former Dr. Michael Weiner had
become Michael Savage, its leading host.
...KSFO -- which, like competing talk station KGO (810 AM), is owned
by the Walt Disney Co. -- wouldn't comment on Savage's contract.
...Savage won't say where he lives, other to say he has home-studios
in Marin County and San Francisco, and he won't allow a reporter or
photographer to visit, saying death threats have led him to be
protective of his privacy.
...In radio, Savage says, he found his calling.
"It's an amazing experience," he says. "For three hours a day, I float
like a butterfly. . . . You find the world resonates with your
opinion. It's living a dream."

I'm not a nutrionist, herbalist, pharmacologist, but I've stayed with
one of the best. It's not my science.
I'm just saying, there could be more then meets the eye here. It's not
your thing, that's fine. Go away.
Others can check it out. It's very interesting.

I'd like to hear scientists who debate the pro and con.

2 dead in Tennessee, they were taken to be a liberal.
Some fools have launched a campaign to blame liberals for the economy
and everything else. Can they guarantee there are no more killer
crazies out there?
I don't care about name calling, but when a name is like having a
target on your back, that's another matter. Children or where they
congregate seem to end up the most vulnerable victims.
If you want to mark someone for death, call them liberal. Even if they
are a conservative or libertarian, stressed and crazy ppl could hate
and shoot anyone they think is liberal. If you're not a death merchant
try the L-word. ;-)

I'm sure glad Savage and Son are doing so well. That means that you
and I can work hard and do well too because in America, if you're a
little smart, and have a lot of drive, you can create an empire.
The left always suffers from class envy. They want everyone to be
poor like themselves. Thankfully, the vast majority of Americans do
not subscribe to leftist philosophy.1002
Yes, and my understanding of why this happens is that corn syrup is a more
viable sugar sweetener because cane and beet sugar prices are kept high by
government price support. Not to say one is necessarily much better for you
than the other.
Weiner is one of those who has declared war on liberals and/or
commies
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.royalty/msg/269488984093e10d
The loons I've heard don't explain their positions well. They are
mostly about inciting. Hate, blame...
"liberals"/"commies" are the worst and must be purged. Schlessinger
says don't buy childrens toys from China. Yet,
she turns around and buys herself a toy from China. Things like that.
Nagging, blaming about liberals, like a broken record.
Look at all the goons on usenet who mimic the liberal rhetoric... In a
way they made the word meaningless now, except to trigger some former
Army guy into a killing. Adkisson was a truck driver. What kind of
radio do most truck drivers hear? The guy was running out of
foodstamps, he didn't run out of ammo.
Adkisson could have been a sugar addict. May be withdrawing from
catsup, or "Ketchup" or Rockstar was more then he could bare.

? ? ? where did that come from ?? I did have contact with the
Huffington's when they spent a fortune on his campaign. He hit on
someone I knew and it disgusted me. Both of them are out of that toxic
secret life now. Their lives improved.

Yes, it's not just "sugar", but the word is shorter!
> That crap is in just about everything sold in the grocery store.
How true.
I'm more fortunate but don't know how some ppl avoid the processed
junk. By the time they get their "Savage" type empire they'll be
disease ridden. It's sad. I've had dear friends who bought into what
tracey12 was talking. It is interesting to see those in another 5-10
years.
I don't know much about Adkisson at this time. When on food stamps, it
is not the time to stay a way from processed food. He probably had a
rotten diet. If the opinions of those he admired was that those on
food stamps were worthless, that would compound his stress and
madness. Where I am may be isn't typical, the ppl I've known that did
listen to the Limbaughs with glee were not "smart". There seemed to be
a seious disconnect with some.

Russia Profile Weekly Experts Panel: Russia Thinks Globally
Introduced by Vladimir Frolov
Russia Profile
In a myriad of foreign policy speeches, both Dmitry Medvedev and
Sergei Lavrov have recently broached sizeable ideas on the transformation of
the trans-Atlantic space, claiming that as the European civilization's
dominance in the world weakens, time has come to re-think the relationship
between Russia, Europe, and the United States, and a new international
architecture is in order. Is the Russian analysis of the global dynamics
correct, and are the policy initiatives flowing from it sound? How are the
Russian initiatives, particularly Medvedev's call for a new all-European
treaty, viewed in Europe and in the United States? Is there a need for a
strategic pause in the trans-Atlantic debate?
I don't put much stock in clairvoyance, but you reminded me of an anecdote I
read regarding Nostrodamus. According to Nostrodamus, the U.S. and Russia
will one day unite in order to win a war with China. Well, maybe. What you
say above makes sense from where I view things, in relation to the dimming
powers of Eastern Europe and America.
