(EXCERPT) BOWLING GREEN, Va. -- The British Royal Marines are moving
their basic training to Fort A.P. Hill in Caroline County to avoid
spreading foot-and-mouth disease in their homeland.
At least 500 Royal Marine Recruits will train at the facility.
All of Britain's military training grounds are closed because of that
country's epidemic of the highly contagious livestock ailment, said
Maj. Mike Tanner, the Royal Marine staff officer with the British
Embassy in Washington.
Training is expected to begin next week and...
