MOS 95A & 95E

I know we only have MOS 95B, C, and D now. So, was there every a 95A?
Was there once a 95E for Crime Photographer? Seems like I've heard
about this before but I don't remember now. Does one of you historical
wizards remember?

No reference could be found for 95A. Also, the changed the 95B MOS to 31B,
31D is CID and 31E is Corrections Specialist.

Yes Bob, I know that 31 series used to be officers...now 31As are still
officers, 31B is MP (enlisted), etc..no more 95 Bravo as we know it....).
The Army changed many of the MOS...trying to streamline the system....I had
been a 95B for over 19 years before they changed it...I am glad I
retired...I couldn't get used to saying 31B...sounds like commo
specialist...:)

Same thing happened to Finance & AG, changed from 73 and 71/75 to 44 and 42
series MOSs.

I always that the CMF 31 was for officers and MOS 95 was for enlisted.

Yes, there where, and still are, a whole bunch of skill identifiers that
follow the MOS and its basic skill level such as Q9 for traffic accident
investigator or V5 for military police investigator (MPI).

Hmm ... that's interesting! So there was a 95A MOS?

I know we had several battalions with assigned infantry companies. The
716th MP Battalion had Co. C, 52d Infantry Regiment as an example.
Also, in 25th MP Company we had an infantry platoon that was a mix of MP
and Infantry soldiers. It was disbanded in late 1969 as I recall.
