Lady brought in a New Laptop with Windows Vista.
She picked up a virus - Windows would load to the "Loading Windows" screen
and just sit there.
tried to fix Vista in her machine. Nothing.
removed hard drive from her computer, put it in a firewire carrier, hooked
it to mine and removed the virus.
put it back in her machine, wouldn't boot.
put it back in my machine, saved the partition to a set of DVDs, wiped the
drive.
put it back in her machine, reloaded vista, reloaded the dvds, rebooted
four times to make sure it worked right....
What a WASTE of TIME.
