Outlook Express is an obsessive storage waster - How do I delete the shit it
insidiously accumulates ?!?!

I did the clean up messages and delete messages, but the fucking thing keeps
telling me I need to compress messages to save space.

"to save space you can compress messages" message.

You're worried about Outlook? Then don't look around at all those "temp"
files that aren't so "temperary" after all. At last count, my father's
WinXP had over 3 gig wasted. I've had an entire install of linux fit in 3G.

a) Reformat disk
b) install any OS but a MS one. Problem solved.
