Leviticus 19

Moral and Ceremonial Laws

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 (Ex 19:6; Lev 11:44-45) Speak to all the congregation of the
children of Israel, and say to them: You shall be holy, for I
the Lord your God am holy.
3 (Ex 20:12; 20:8; 16:29) Every one of you shall revere
his mother and his father, and you will keep My Sabbaths:
I am the Lord your God.
4 (Lev 26:1; Ex 20:23; 34:17) Do not turn to idols,
nor make for yourselves cast metal gods: I am the Lord your God.
5 (Lev 1:3; 7:16) When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings
to the Lord, you shall offer it so that you might be accepted.
6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it or on the next day,
and if any remains until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire.
7 If it is eaten at all on the third day, then it is contaminated.
It shall not be accepted.
8 Therefore everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity,
because he has defiled what is holy of the Lord,
and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
9 (Lev 23:22; 23:29) When you reap the harvest of your land,
you shall not reap up to the edge of your field,
nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.
10 You shall not glean bare your vineyard,
nor shall you gather every fallen grape of your vineyard.
You shall leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.
11 (Ex 20:15; Eph 4:25) You shall not steal, nor deal falsely,
nor lie to one another.
12 (Ex 20:7; Lev 18:21; 6:3) You shall not swear falsely by My name,
and so defile the name of your God: I am the Lord.
13 (Jas 5:4; Dt 24:14-15) You shall not defraud your neighbor or rob him.
The wages of him who is hired shall not stay with you all night
until the morning.
14 (Dt 27:18; Lev 19:32) You shall not curse the deaf,
nor put a stumbling block before the blind,
but you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.
15 (Dt 1:17; Ex 23:2-3; Dt 16:19) You shall do no unrighteousness
in a court. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor
the person who is great, but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.
16 (Ex 23:1; 23:7; Ps 15:3) You shall not go around as a slanderer
among your people, nor shall you stand by while the life of your
neighbor is in danger: I am the Lord.
17 (Lk 17:3; 1Jn 2:9) You shall not hate your brother in your heart.
You shall surely reason honestly with your neighbor,
and not suffer sin because of him.
18 (Ro 12:19; 13:9; Gal 5:14) You shall not take vengeance,
nor bear any grudge against the children of your people,
but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto
them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
[3] Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my
sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
[4] Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the
LORD your God.
[5] And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall
offer it at your own will.
[6] It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if
ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
[7] And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall
not be accepted.
[8] Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he
hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off
from among his people.
[9] And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap
the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy
harvest.
[10] And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every
grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am
the LORD your God.
[11] Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
[12] And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane
the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
[13] Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him
that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
[14] Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the
blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.
[15] Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the
person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in
righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
[16] Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither
shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
[17] Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise
rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
[18] Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy
people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

and plant any kind of tree for food,
then you shall count the fruit as forbidden.Or uncircumcised.

24 (Dt 18:4; Pr 3:9) But in the fourth year all the fruit shall
be holy and an offering of praise to the Lord.
25 And in the fifth year you shall eat of the fruit that it may yield
an increase to you: I am the Lord your God.
26 (Dt 12:23; 2Ki 17:17) You shall not eat anything with the blood in it,
nor shall you practice divination or fortune-telling.

and honor the face of an old man, and fear your God: I am the Lord.

you shall not do him wrong.
34 (Lev 19:18; Dt 10:19) The foreigner who dwells with you shall be
to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself
for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
35 (Dt 25:13; 25:15) You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment
regarding measures in length, weight, or quantity.
36 (Ex 20:2; Pr 11:1) You shall have honest balances, honest weights,
an honest ephah,(A dry measure of about 3/5 of a bushel, or 22 liters.)
and an honest hin:(A liquid measure of about 1 gallon, or 3.8 liters.)
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 (Lev 18:4-5) Therefore you shall observe all My statutes
and all My judgments and do them: I am the Lord.

[19] Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a
diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall
a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.
[22] And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the

sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
[23] And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner
of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised:
three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
[24] But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise
the LORD withal.
[25] And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may
yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.
[26] Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use
enchantment, nor observe times.
[27] Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar
the corners of thy beard.
[28] Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print
any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
[29] Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the
land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
[30] Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
[31] Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards,
to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
[32] Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the
old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
[33] And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
[34] But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born
among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the
land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
[35] Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or
in measure.
[36] Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye
have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
[37] Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and
do them: I am the LORD.

Leviticus 20

Penalties for Violating the Law

1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 (Lev 18:21; 20:27) Again, you shall say to the children of Israel:
Whoever from the children of Israel or from the foreigners who sojourn
in Israel who gives any of his children to Molek,
he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him.
3 (Lev 18:21; 17:10) I will set My face against that man
and will cut him off from among his people,

My sanctuary and to defile My holy name.
4(Dt 17:2-5) If the people of the land in any way hide their eyes
from the man when he gives of his children to Molek and do not put

and those who follow after him as whores after Molek.
6 (Lev 19:31; 20:27; Isa 8:19) The person who turns to spirits
through mediums and necromancers in order to whore after them,

I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
9 (Ex 21:17; Dt 27:16; 2Sa 1:16) For anyone who curses his father

He has cursed his father or his mother, and his blood guilt shall
be upon him.

man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife,
the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

both of them shall surely be put to death.
They have committed a perversion. Their blood guilt shall be upon them.

as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.
They shall surely be put to death. Their blood guilt shall be upon them.

it is wickedness. Both he and they shall be burned with fire,
so that there is no wickedness among you.

he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal.
16 If a woman approaches an animal and lies with it,
you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death.
Their blood guilt shall be upon them.
17 (Lev 18:9; Dt 27:22) If a man lies with his sister,
whether the daughter of his father or mother,
they have exposed each other's nakedness;
it is a wicked thing and they shall be cut off from the sight
of their people. He has exposed his sister's nakedness,
and he shall bear his iniquity.

period and exposes her nakedness, her fountain of blood is then exposed.
Both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

I am bringing you will not vomit you out.
23 (Lev 18:3; 18:24) You shall not walk in the customs of the nation
that I am driving out before you, for they committed all these things,
and therefore I abhorred them.
24 (Ex 33:16; 3:8) But I have said to you: You shall inherit their land,
and I will give it to you to possess it, a land that
flows with milk and honey. I am the Lord your God, who has separated you
from other peoples.
25 (Lev 11:1-47; Dt 14:3-21) You shall therefore make distinction
between the clean animal from the unclean,
and the unclean fowl from the clean,

or by any manner of living thing that crawls on the ground,
which I have separated from you as unclean.
26 (Lev 19:2; 20:7) You shall be holy unto Me;
for I the Lord am holy and have separated you
from other peoples, that you should be Mine.
27 (Lev 19:31; 20:6) A man or woman who speaks
to spirits as a medium or necromancer shall surely be put to death.
They shall stone them. Their blood guilt shall be upon them.

Leviticus 20
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the
children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth
any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of
the land shall stone him with stones.
[3] And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among
his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my
sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
[4] And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man,
when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
[5] Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and
will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom
with Molech, from among their people.
[6] And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after
wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that
soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
[7] Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your
God.
[8] And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify
you.
[9] For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put
to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon
him.
[10] And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he
that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the
adulteress shall surely be put to death.
[11] And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his
father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood
shall be upon them.
[12] And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be
put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
[13] If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them
have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their
blood shall be upon them.
[14] And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall
be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
[15] And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye
shall slay the beast.
[16] And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou
shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death;
their blood shall be upon them.
[17] And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his
mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a
wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he
hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
[18] And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall
uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath
uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from
among their people.
[19] And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of
thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their
iniquity.
[20] And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his
uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
[21] And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he
hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
[22] Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do
them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
[23] And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out
before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred
them.
[24] But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give
it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the
LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
[25] Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and
between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable
by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the
ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
[26] And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed
you from other people, that ye should be mine.
[27] A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard,
shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood
shall be upon them.

Leviticus 21

Rules for Priestly Conduct

1 (Eze 44:25; Lev 10:6-7) Then the Lord said to Moses: Speak to the priests,
the sons of Aaron, and say to them: None shall make himself unclean
for the dead among his people,
2 but for his closest relatives, that is, for his mother, his father,
his son, his daughter, his brother,
3 and his virgin sister (who is near him because she has not had a husband),
for her he may be made unclean.
4 And he shall not make himself unclean as a husband among his people
because of the dead and so defile himself.
5 (Dt 14:1; Eze 44:20; Lev 19:27-28) They shall not make bald areas
on their heads, nor shall they shave off the edges of their beards,
nor make any cuts in their flesh.
6 (Lev 3:11; 18:21) They shall be holy unto their God,
and not profane the name of their God;
for they offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire,
and the food of their God. Therefore they shall be holy.
7 (Lev 21:13-14; Eze 44:22) They shall not take a wife
who is a whore or has been defiled, nor shall they take
a woman divorced from her husband, for he is holy unto his God.
8 (Lev 21:6) You shall sanctify him, for he offers the food
of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I the Lord,
who sanctifies you, am holy.
9 (Ge 38:24) The daughter of any priest,
if she defiles herself by being a whore, she also defiles her father.
She shall be burned with fire.
10 (Lev 10:6-7; 16:32) He who is the high priest among his brothers,
on whose head the anointing oil was poured
and who is consecrated to wear the garments,
shall not dishevel his hair, nor tear his clothes;
11 (Nu 19:14; Lev 19:28; 21:1-2) nor shall he approach any dead body,
nor make himself unclean, even for his father or his mother;
12 (Lev 10:7; Ex 29:6-7) nor shall he go out of the sanctuary,
so as not to defile the sanctuary of his God,
for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him:
I am the Lord.
13 (Lev 21:7; Eze 44:22) He shall take a wife in her virginity.
14 (Lev 21:7_ A widow, or a divorced woman, or a defiled woman,
or a prostitute, these he shall not marry. But he shall take
for a wife a virgin of his own people,
15 so that he does not defile his offspring among his people,
for I am the Lord who sanctifies him.
16 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
17 (Lev 10:3; Nu 16:5) Speak to Aaron, saying:
None of your offspring in their generations
who has any blemish may approach to offer the food of his God.
18 (Lev 22:19-25) For whoever has a blemish, he shall not approach,
whether a blind or lame man, or one who has a physical flaw
on his face or a limb that is too long,
19 or a man who has a broken foot or broken hand,
20 (Dt 23:1) or a hunchback, or a dwarf, or who has a defect in his eye,
or eczema or scabs, or is a eunuch.
21 (Lev 21:6) No man who has a blemish from the offspring of Aaron
the priest shall come near to offer the food offerings of the Lord
made by fire. He has a blemish; he shall not come near to offer
the bread of his God.
22 (Lev 2:3; 2:10) He shall eat the food of his God,
both of the most holy and of the holy.
23 (Lev 21:12) Only he shall not go in through the veil
or come to the altar, because he has a blemish, so that
he does not defile My sanctuaries, for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.
24 Moses spoke this to Aaron, and to his sons,
and to all the children of Israel.

Leviticus 21
[1] And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron,
and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his
people:
[2] But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for
his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
[3] And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no
husband; for her may he be defiled.
[4] But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to
profane himself.
[5] They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave
off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
[6] They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their
God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God,
they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
[7] They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall
they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
[8] Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God:
he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
[9] And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the
whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
[10] And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the
anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments,
shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
[11] Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his
father, or for his mother;
[12] Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of
his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the
LORD.
[13] And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
[14] A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he
not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
[15] Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do
sanctify him.
[16] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[17] Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their
generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread
of his God.
[18] For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a
blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
[19] Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
[20] Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be
scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
[21] No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come
nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he
shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
[22] He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the
holy.
[23] Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar,
because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the
LORD do sanctify them.
[24] And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the
children of Israel.

Prompted to Pray </a>

1 Thessalonians 5:12-18

Final Exhortations and Greetings

12 (Heb 13:17; 1Co 16:16; 16:18) We ask you, brothers, to acknowledge those
who labor among you, and are appointed over you in the Lord, and instruct you.
13 (Mk 9:50) Esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake.
And be at peace among yourselves.
14 (Ro 14:1; Ac 20:35) Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are unruly,
comfort the faint-hearted, support the weak, and be patient toward everyone.
15 (1Pe 3:9; Gal 6:10) See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone.
But always seek to do good to one another and to all.
16 (Php 4:4) Rejoice always.
17 (Eph 6:18; Lk 18:1) Pray without ceasing.
18 (Eph 5:20; Heb 13:15) In everything give thanks,
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

[12] And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and
are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
[13] And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at
peace among yourselves.
[14] Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the
feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
[15] See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that
which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
[16] Rejoice evermore.
[17] Pray without ceasing.
[18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.

A coworker once told me that her prayer life had improved because of our
manager. I was impressed, thinking that our difficult leader had shared some
spiritual nuggets with her and influenced how she prays. I was wrong-sort of.
My coworker and friend went on to explain: "Every time I see him coming,
I start praying." Her time of prayer had improved because she prayed more
before each conversation with him. She knew she needed God’s help in her
challenging work relationship with her manager, and she called out to Him
more because of it.

My coworker's practice of praying during tough times and interactions is
something I've adopted. It's also a biblical practice found in 1 Thessalonians
when Paul reminds the believers in Jesus to "Pray without ceasing ,
In every thing give thanks"(5:17-18). No matter what we face, prayer is
always the best practice. It keeps us connected with God and invites His
Spirit to direct us (Galatians 5:16) rather than having us rely on our
human inclinations. This helps us "be at
peace among yourselves." (1 Thessalonians 5:13) even when we face conflicts.

As God helps us, we can rejoice in Him, pray about everything,
and give thanks often. And those things will help us live in
even greater harmony with our brothers and sisters in Jesus.

Words in Season Scripture Memory Tools

Week 7 Promises of Grace - Day 2 - Due Season

Gal 6:9

9 And let us not grow weary in doing good,
for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.

9 And let us not be weary in well doing:
for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Jackie's preschool class took on an exciting project: they were going to grow
flowers from seeds, Each child took the seed, planted it carefully in the
bedding soil, watered, and waited. But Jackie couldn't wait. Every day
for a week he ran to the window box, looked for his plants, poked, prodded,
unplanted the seeds and then planted them again. "It's no use,"
he pouted after the first week. "Nothing's gonna grow in there."
We live in an instant society - microwave dinners, quick fixes, easy answers.
We are conditioned by our environment to expect - even to demand -
immediate response, and when we have to wait,
we become impatient and irritable.
Paul's exhortation to the Galatians, "Let us not become weary in doing good,"
is as appropriate for twentieth-century believers as it was for the new church
at Galatia. We lose motivation when we don't see results,
and weariness sets in.
If our work does not seem to be producing as we hope, we want to abandon it
and move on to a new project.
But God says, "You will reap a harvest if you don't give up." We give up too
soon in our prayers for a loved one's salvation. We abandon hope too readily
when we don't see spiritual growth in our own lives, when our investment in
another's spiritual maturity seems to have no return. The Lord says,
"The harvest is coming; be patient; trust me."
In due season the harvest comes; when it's the right time. When the seed has
had time to germinate, when the roots are string enough, when the conditions
are right, the reaping time will come. But we must be willing to wait for
the due season, the moment of ripeness, when our labor brings its return.

Application

a) Have I ever felt that my spiritual labours have produced no harvest at all?

b) What does it mean to my own spiritual growth that there is a "due season"
for reaping the harvest?

4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland

Malachi 3:10-12

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in
My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, if I will not
open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing,
that there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 I will rebuke the devourer
for your sakes, so that it will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
and the vines in your field will not fail to bear fruit,
says the Lord of Hosts.
12 Then all the nations will call you blessed, for you will be
a delightful land, says the Lord of Hosts.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in
mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not
open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall
not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy
the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit
before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be
a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

5) From a Book called God's Promises for you:

When you are Worried Over Money

Matt 6:19-21

Treasures in Heaven

Lk 12:33-34

19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth
and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.
20 But store up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy
and where thieves do not break in nor steal,
21 for where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth
and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth
nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Remember God's promises when You pray

The Lord's prayer

Matthew 6:9-13

9 "Therefore pray in this manner:
Our Father who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;
Your will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.
12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

6) This come from Praying for Muslims in Canada 2015 (Is there a 2021 edition?)

Alberta

Quick facts on Muslims in Alberta

Alberta 2015 population 4121700

est Muslim Population 195240

CNMM Networks: Calgary and Edmonton

It is estimated that Calgary has 82000 Muslims and Edmonton another 50000 .
Alberta may have a total as high as 195240 today.
Calgary is notable as the first Canadian city with a Muslim mayor. It's
become a prominent place of Islamic fundamentalism.
Edmonton's Muslim population is very diverse, with the largest group
coming from Tanzania, followed by Somalia, and then North African countries
such as Egypt, Morocco, etc.
Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus! They overcome huge spiritual,
emotional and cultural hurdles to follow Christ. Yet their challenges still
continue, especially in growing in discipleship. They often fell lost in our
Western congregations, and equally lost trying to find a church body with whom
they can identify. some are even being lured into Christian cult groups.

Please join us in praying for:
- The church to reach out to the growing Muslim populations in Alberta.
- for Canadian churches to start contextualised discipleship ministries to
Muslim-background believers.
- for Muslm-background believers to be well grounded spiritually and socially
in their faith and the Church.
- and for Muslim-background believers to share their faith with their
not-yet-believing family and friendship networks.
- for Farsi and Arabic fellowships to grow in spiritual maturity and outreach.
- for current and new workers among Muslims in these growing Muslim
in these growing Muslim population centres.

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020

Under the Keep Praying page

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month
and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days
of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that
usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,
of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be
decorated and festivals will be held.

For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the
distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of
Islam.

You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",
which means Blessed Eid!"

Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you
know, and Muslims around the world:

- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions
in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about
unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such
movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three
decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim
relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.
Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,
"that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
18 Even on My menservants and maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below:
blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a]

Footnotes
Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32.
- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective
discipleship movements among Muslim people.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for
Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.
Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a
hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the
house."

Ideas for prayer

- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you
- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving
Christ among Muslim people -
Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."
- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims
throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further
call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity
(Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .
