The sanctions were issued as a result of the abysmal performances of Basinger and Smits in the horrible grade b movie, _Bless the Child,_ and for Natalie Portman's horrid participation in the trashy grade b movie, _Hesher._
A spokesman for the movie industry remarked that to classify either of these movies as "grade b" is an insult to the classification.
"Both of these movies should have been annihilated, burned to ashes before they were ever shown to the public," he said.
