1. June. Due to the big Aunt Jemima spill out on the bypass, the June meeting of the Mensa Outdoor Women's Auxiliary (MOWA) has been relocated to Jumbo & Tubby's All-You-Can-Eat Hog Heaven. Extra parking in the rear for larger vehicles. Next month, meetings will resume at Willie's Wide Waffle House.
2. July. Another exciting tour of the sewage treatment plant. This time we'll explore the Number 2 Turd Farm mixing area, including a group participation hands-on demonstration of bacteria sampling techniques. Following the tour, orange juice, fudge brownies, peanuts and other finger foods will be served. Wear old clothes and fishing waders.
3. August. The Sub-95 Committee will be holding its annual Snipe Hunt at Fuzzy McKinney's Running Wild Badger, Grizzly Bear and Rattlesnake Preserve. Back light. Don't bring a lot of things to carry. Lunch will be provided. Sensible precautions include: bringing medicine for poison oak, poison ivy, tick bites, flea bites, snake bites, scuffs, scrapes, bruises to the head and face, sprained ankle, broken nose, a current medical insurance card, a copy of your dental X-rays, and a signed copy of the liability release form sent to you last week in the mail.
4. September. As a celebration of school opening again, an educational tour will be held at Fuzzy McKinney's Save the Planet Organic Potato Farm.* On display will be the new composting machine that takes in raw sewage, plastic and discarded computers, and out comes bags of 100% organic "I'm Saving the Planet Soil Food!" ISTPLF is being used now at McKinney's potato farm.* We will also learn about Mr. McKinney's plans for a new organic potato chip factory on the adjoining property, now being operated under the name McKinney's Septic Tank Depository and Organic Supply. Meet in the dumping area at 6am.
