Anti-family perspective in research from 'women's study programs."

I wanted to bring to your attention the polarized frame of reference
provided by Paula Bourne on the issue of an all boys school.
According to the CBC website, "Paula Bourne is a senior research
associate with the Centre for Women's Studies in Education at the
Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of
Toronto."

Ms. Bourne's comments, and many others eminating from so called
"women's centers" present the world as reference of men or women, each
a distinct and seperate creature. They speak of 'women' verses "men"
which is to my observation a 'freudian reflection" of their perceived
reality. Let me try to explain.

There is NO mention, not one single one, of the women, who are wives
or mothers or both, who work and share their resources with their
husbands, and their children. The same in regards to the reference to
men. What about the difference between men in general, and men who
are fathers, and husbands who share their incomes and resources with
women and children.

It appears that this whole reality is totally missing from 'their'
frames of reference, as if "WOMEN' and "MEN" live in total isolation
from family and others.

God bless my parents, who worked unselfishly to sustain each other and
their children.

As to people like Paul Bourne a 'senior" researcher, more effort must
be taken to understand where their frame of reference come from, it
appears to be an unhealthy one, sad to say.
