Hope somebody can help me. I was really excited about qigong an now
I'm a bit wearry.
Clive
My personal opinion is that it is difficult to find quality instruction in
qigong so it's best to keep some measure of skepticism (as you are doing).
Ask questions and expect serious answers. I haven't had to look for a new
teacher in a long while but if I were to do so one question I would ask is:
Do you have any techniques for opening the waist? Better yet, ask the
teacher to show you if his waist is open. He should, at the very least, be
able to stand facing a wall, toes right up to the base, and squat up and
down effortlessly.
I hope this helps. Do let the ng know of your progress in finding a teacher.
regards,
Jan
