Just to let you know I have done a limited amount of testing with such a
facility. In my case I had a web server (completely under my control) which
was also under my control. The web server was a Microsoft Windows 2003
server which was running IIS and therefore allowed me to run Active Server
pages.

You will need some sort of sms gateway but you can subscribe to a service
(such as http://www.aspsms.com/examples/asp/blinking-sms.asp - I have no
reliationship with this company). This will allow you to send SMS messages
from your iTV servers and receive them.

As far as I know sending and receiving SMS (in this case) are two different
processes and different charges will apply.

Sorry if this is all a bit vague but I didn't have much specific information
to go on!

Dave
