A peculiarity of JVC brand receivers (made 10 years ago)
is that they have only 5 RCA signal jacks, all three for
signal input but only the two audio jacks for output, i.e.
lacking video output. This is true of sets with and
without D-video plugs.

This creates problems with VCRs of other brands.
(I just needed to replace a JVC VCR/DVD and bought
Toshiba because it was the only one in the store.)
Standard wiring diagrams for interconnection via
satellite control box require all 6 signal channels,
input as well as output.

Advice?
