Translating OTS Reading Glasses to Prescription

I'm trying to translate the rating of off-the-shelf reading glasses to a
prescription format.

For example: Would a pair of 2.00 reading glasses be the equivalent of
Spherical Correction = +2.00 (right and left) with both Cylinder and Axis
both equal to 0??
