Pointer to discussion for new group

If anyone here is interested, news.groups is considering creation
of a new group called soc.support vision-impaired.

Henrietta K. Thomas is proposing a new big 8 group in news.groups.

She needs some evidence that people who are already on usenet might
actually read and post to such a group. If you have any interest in a
group supporting visually impaired persons, you may want to take a
look at the RFD and make your views known.

The threads made be a bit hard to find as there is a lot of activity
involving creating a soc.men.moderated group and a lot of that
activity is noise rather than serious discussion (trolls and aukers
who dislike the proponent).

The group I am interested in is soc.support.vision-impaired. HKT is
not my favorite person, but I think the group could be a good one for
anyone who works with vision-impaired people or who is vision-impaired
or who has friends or relatives who are vision-impaired.
