Dear FMily,

I would like to invite all of you to join in an exercise of Art Therapy.
Those of you who have posted poetry, or written stories, or journal
entries, or visual art, or have engaged in any form of self expression
that you would like to share I want to hear from you.

g a t z k A R T ! states that it is Dedicated to Disabled Artists. Many
of you in this family have been disabled by FMS/MPS/CFIDS and other
medical illnesses. We want to publish your work on our website. Each of
you who would like to contribute to the theme of ANY TYPE OF SELF-HELP
EXPRESSION in the Arts can contribute.

All Copyrights will remain the property of the contributors, we will not
republish in any printed volumes without prior written permission from
the author/artist. (We want to do a limited edition illustrated chapbook
to sell - if the royalties can be spread far enough! - But this is in
it's infancy but who knows?) Privacy will also be respected, if you
choose to remain anonymous.

What can you contribute?

Poetry
Visual Art (color photocopies will be scanned
in as a service for you.)
Short Stories
Articles about how you cope with chronic pain and/or illness.
Creative postcards or envelopes you send us.
Use your imagination - make us stretch our ability
to use HTML on the WWW!

If you have work already online we will add links to your website along
with your contribution.

I will do illustrations for the poetry or short stories received that I
will display on the site and send the contributor a copy with permission
to reproduce if they so choose. (Limits to reproduction will be in
writing.)

We would love to be able to pay each contributor, but as g a t z k A R T
! pays for itself only we can not at this time. We would like to in the
future if we ever become the Art Therapy source we want to.

In addition to those of you who want to contribute your work we will add
an author/artist bio giving full credit to you and your efforts. Please
include some information about yourself and your reasons for using Art
as a self-help activity.

g a t z k A R T ! 's Newest feature is "Communique Assembly". This is a
COMMUNITY RESOURCE that everyone can join in. We want you're insights
about Art Therapy as a feature of assisting chronically ill persons to
cope with and turn limitations into unique forms of expression. Join
"Communique Assembly" (provided by NerdWorld) and give us your thoughts,
your ideas, your observations.

Don't be shy! I personally KNOW that we have many creative individuals
in this Fibromyalgia newsgroup! Please do not hesitate to share. You
have nothing to loose! And this is a great opportunity to share with
others your efforts to express YOU and who you are and what you think
and feel!

CONTRIBUTE TODAY! We need you! And have benefited from our association
with alt.med.fibromyalgia for the last few years. Many of you have
contributed personally to me to help me through some very hard times. It
is my turn to offer something in return.

So How about It? Moria, Steve, David, Ann, Michael, Janet, Kathy,
Janice, Gordon, Devin, Lord Mayor, Maureen, Jackie, Dr. Nye and ALL of
you in the FMily. Contribute Today! I will make your work shine on the
web, and your discussions about Art Therapy will help all of us who use
this form of self-help.

Are you up to it? I hope so!

Yours in FMS/MPS and ART!

Kirk Mathew Gatzka
