On my doctor's recommendation I've been taking glucosamine sulfate and a
bioflavoid combination to control my arthritis. (My thumbs were so
painful I would wake up in the night if I moved them!) The "more
natural" way is slower to control pain, but taken steadily it works for
me!
I'm also reminded that my grandmother uses cod liver oil in orange juice
every night to control her arthritis pain. Fortunately, you can now get
cod liver oil in capsules!
If you want more specifics, you can e-mail me.

"The Joy of the Lord is my strength"--Nehemiah 8:10
Yes, my husband and I both take a product from Bioenergy Nutrients called,
Healthy Joints. It is a combination of Glucosamine Sulfate 200mg and
Condoitin Sulfate 100mg, (plus sea cucumber 100mg, glucosamine hydrochloride
100mg, vitamin C 60mg and manganese 2mg).
He takes it for knee joint pain from cartilege problems. He can tell the
difference; he gets more relief from taking that, than he does from the
prescribed aspirin treatment. Also, he notices a definite difference when
he stops taking it. He takes from three to five a day.
I don't have joint pain, but take it because I have developed some "noise"
in my knees in the last year. My physician says it is inflamed cartilege.
