I'm sorry to hear that you're giving it up, Nancy.........but I totally
understand it. I keep my private groups going but honestly, I don't
participate much anymore.......I've been doing them for 6 years now. I pay
alot of money every year to keep them open for the folks who still enjoy
them and I do like having a place online to just go read and view pretty
stuff:-) But I turned the everyday moderating of them over to other folks
long ago. I just keep up with the bookkeeping part of the job. We lose
interest and we want to spend our time doing other things or just put
closure to something...........it's understandable. I hope that you find
someone suitable to take it over................I think newsgroups are on
their way out though personally. Folks seem to prefer yahoo groups,
etc.........

My private groups still do pretty well but I totally think it's cuz we're
private and I do not allow flaming of any kind in any fashion. So no one
feels attacked like they do here. I admit, I do a fair share of defending
but I never just up and start a fuss here or anywhere else. I don't roll
over either though..........but annexcafe, other zeppole groups.........the
posting is way down IMO.

I totally agree. I came to that conclusion when I saw many support groups
loose
most of their traffic around January.
