Hi everybody,
I had my surgery on June 2 and it was a duzy!!. Dr Albee was wonderful.
He stated I did have stage 4 severe endo. He stated in the exploratory
part of the surgery that my left tube and ovary were beyonde repair and
my husband gave him permission to remove it. Dr Albee believes this will
help my chances of fertility. My right one had some endo on it as well.
he removed it and the scar tissue and repositioned my tube ( I was told
it had a kink in it from the adhesions) I had some endo on the end of
the tube and he removed that. he literally had to reposition everything
in that area. I had bowel attached to my uterus and ovaries he removed
that I also had it attached to the abdomen wall he removed that as well.
My bladder was attached to my uterus, he removed that too. When I came
out of surgery I was extremely sore not like the surgery in Feb. I was
in the hospital overnight. I taken so many pain medications they could
not ease my pain. properly so half the time I was in pain. The only time
the pain stopped was right before I went home, they gave me a different
pain medication. I am still in alot of pain but hopefully I will feel
better soon. I was told by Dr Albee that I should feel better in 2-3
months. I was in surgery 4-5 hours. It felt like it. I hope everybody
else is doing well.
