Hi,
I am hoping to get more input from women who suffer from Endometriosis on=
my
non-commercial website called RemedyFind. I started the site several yea=
rs
ago in an attempt to hear from other individuals with CFS (Chronic Fatigu=
e
Syndrome), which I=B9ve had for about 20 years. After creating RemedyFind=
I
realized the concept of letting patients rate the effectiveness of the
treatments they have tried would work for many other chronic health
conditions, and so RemedyFind has now grown to include some 25 conditions
(including Endometriosis).

Obviously everyone is different, and what works for one woman won=B9t
necessarily work for another, but my hope is that certain trends might sh=
ow
themselves over time, and after hundreds or thousands of patient ratings.=
In
the future we will be adding features that allow users to view ratings
according to specific diagnoses and subtypes, as well as according to age
etc.. In the meantime, members say that it is simply helpful to hear oth=
er
patient accounts of what has, or hasn=B9t, worked for them.

Please share your opinions on what has - or hasn=B9t - worked for you. Yo=
u can
choose from dozens of treatments to rate, from medications to nutritional
supplements to alternative / complimentary therapies. Or suggest somethin=
g
I=B9ve missed. The site is free and you can be as anonymous as you would =
like
=AD you choose your own member name and your contact information is not s=
hared
with anyone. Here is the address of the Remedyfind Endometriosis section =
-
http://www.remedyfind.com/hc-endometriosis.asp
(click on =B3All Remedies=B2 to see the full list of treatments).

Many thanks,

Have not used, but warm showers and hot water bottles did help

> Emotional Support: Online Discussion Groups =A0=A0=A08.2 (10)

ivillage was especially helpful post hyst (2001)

> Emotional Support: Family / Friends =A0=A0=A06.9 (8)

helpful from roommate 1996-1999

> Vicodin etc. (Hydrocodone; Acetaminophen) =A0=A0=A06 (9)

used ibuprofen and occasionally roomie's robaxin and also tylenol sleepaid,
but
eventually bowel strangulation pain caused hyst

> Hormones: Zoladex (Goserelin) =A0=A0=A05.3 (9)

did not use, but today pambron and ipriflavone are of some use. drinking
proved overly estrogenic. still use caffeine.

> Hormones: Oral contraceptives (Estrogen/Progestin) =A0=A0=A05.1 (11)

used 1973-1975, orthonovum90, provera(new form)1980, not very helpful;
possibly depo-provera 1969.

> Advil etc. (Ibuprofen)=A0=A0=A05 (11)
yes

> Ultracet (Tramadol; Acetaminophen)=A0=A0=A05 (6)
less effective than above

> Surgical Procedures: Laparoscopy =A0=A0=A04.6 (18)

no, but d/c 1975

> Hormones: Lupron etc. (Leuprolide / Leuprorelin)=A0=A0=A02.5 (20)
