I had my 1st NAET treament yesterday and felt really goo yesterday. Was able
to drive there and back (4 hours) on my own and still felt ok but tired when I
got home. But today is a horrible day. Just got out of bed at 4 and feel
very weak. Had nausea and dizziness for most of the day. Could not even read
today as it made my head hurt - 1st time that has happened?!#@ Is this normal
for after Naet? I am hoping that that is what it can be attributed to as I
was doing better the last 6 weeks? Anyone out there like Sue who has Naet
experience who can give some insight?
Thanks
Monique
I was wondering if you had tried NAET or not. What were you treated for
this first time?
I am not at all surprised that you feel so horrible the day after the
treatment. You should feel fine by tomorrow or the next day at the
latest, at least this has been my experience.
The day I have NAET, I take it very easy and do very little. The next
day I am usually very achy and if I try to do much, I get very shakey. I
do not feel as bad after a treatment now, as I used to, but I don't know
why.
I only have to drive about 20 mins to get to the doctors office. You
haveing to drive 4 hours, may be why you feel so bad. How often will you
be getting naet? Is there someone who could drive you?
Let me know what you were treated for.

Treating Autism, is much different then treating allergies or CFS. In
fact reading the NAET-L, same as the CFS-L, you would see that treating
autism with naet, is still in the trial stages. No one has claimed to
cure autism, with naet. They do say that they are getting good results.
>So my guess is that NAET might not work for you. I would definitely
not do it if it continues to make you feel bad.
I have been having NAET treatments on and off for almost a year. I have
posted here about my experiences with NAET, if you are interested you
can do a google search on my email address and NAET. I "had" a lot of
food allergies and they are now gone and I am able to eat all of those
foods again. I don't think what your naturopathic physician say is
correct, but if it does just bury the symtoms and allows me to feel
better, I don't care. Since starting NAET I got rid of a lot of
allergies, which improved my asthma and overal health. It has also given
me much more strength and energy and improved my quality of life quite a
bit.
It is not unusual to feel lousy right after a treatment, most times it
lasts for a day or two at the most. I believe, from my own experience,
that Monique is experiencing the normal day after feeling lousy, made
worse by the exursion of such a long drive. When I have a treatment, I
have a 20 min drive home and I rest for the balance of the day and all
the next day.
My statements above are based on EXPERIENCE, not on a GUESS!!

Hi Monique. I'm in the process of having NAET done too and am only about 5
treatments into it. I found that the following day I was also nauseous,
lightheaded and very very tired. I sleep almost the whole day. It is the
following day that I feel a surge of energy which is very nice.
Is there anyone closer to you so that you don't have to compound the
treatment fatigue with the fatigue of making a trip like that? Or maybe
someone that could drive you? The treatments so far are not ridding me of
the allergies I have supposedly cleared, but I do think I feel better on
some level. Keep us posted as to how it goes. - Vicki

Hi Vicki,
I am glad you are still doing the NAET. If a treatment is not clearing
the allergy, you may need to be treated for it more then one time.
There are some vials I have needed to be retreated with at times, altho
the basics I seemed to clear right away. It all varies with the individual.
I am glad that you feel it is doing at least some good. You keep us
posted also. I don't post here often, but have been keeping an eye out
for things I am interested in. NAET is one of them.

I am new. I've had CFIDS for more than 15 yrs and dx'd for 9.
What is NAET?
Thanks.
Tammi
Thanks for the info. I am trying to get a friend here who is a chiropractor
to do the NAET training so I don't have to travel so far. In the meantime
maybe I will start takignt he bus. Driving never used to be a big deal but
the concetration it now takes is tiring.
What have you been treated for so far? When you go back does the muscle
testing indicate you are still cleared?
I look forward to the energy surge tomorrow. :o)

How would it bury the symptoms? Did he explain further? Anyway, even if it
did, pharamceutical drugs do exactly that and even worse have bad side
effects. I'll take the Naet if i t'll help. But I have to give it a try to
know for sure. Seems it has helped a lot of people.

Thanks for this info. It is a relief to know that others also feel sick
afterwards. The thought that I am sliding down into severe illness again is
more than I can bear.. I can handle this illness if it at least lets me do
basic things but when I am bedridden it is horrible.

BBF - body balance formula. She said it is a new one that was just introduced
as the 1st treatment. Did you have this one? She only comes to red Deer 1X a
month. The palce she is normall in is 4 hours EACH way. Don't want to go that
far. I hope I can convince someone here to take the training.

Strange though that I did not feel bad yesterday. I wonder why it did not hit
me til todat. Cumulative effect?
I would like to go once a week but it being so far away makes that difficult.
What have you been treated for?

My first treatment, I went running to the naet-l, to see what was wrong.
I think it is great that we are able to share our experiences here. You
are not sliding down, by tomorrow you should be feeling better. On
occasion it might take an extra day. When I could eat something new, or
be in a house with a pet, it makes those down days after a treatment,
very worth while. Hang in there.

I didn't do BBF as the first one, but when I did it, it gave me a
feeling of "well being". I hope you can find someone nearby to take the
training. I am sure the driving was part of your feeling so miserable.
>Strange though that I did not feel bad yesterday. I wonder why it did not hit

Doing the BBF, you might not of felt sick, or at least as sick, if it
were not for the drive.
>I would like to go once a week but it being so far away makes that
difficult.
I have been going once a week, but have missed many weeks for different
reason. Sometimes I just don't feel well enough to have a treatment,
sometimes I have something to do and I can't afford the down day. Then
there have been time the doctor or I have been on vacation.
>What have you been treated for?
>
So much I don't know if I can remember it all, I should of written it down.
Dairy/calcium, wheat, corn, soy, shellfish, CFS, virus, animal dander,
salt, pollen, leather. He did a combination of candida and other yeast
type things, just did mercury, eggs, vit b, vit c, mold, folic acid.
Probably more that I don't remember right now.
If you do a search in the archives or on google, you can find what I
have posted about naet in the past.
Keep us posted!!

My experience is that a successful treatment will usually have side
effects for the first day or two.
What was the treatment FOR? Try getting a treatment for an allergy, and
then test it afterwards to
see if it worked. That'd be the real test, I think.
No pain, no gain.

I am glad to see that many of you are finding some relief with NAET. We had
also had a NAET provider speak at our meeting. Did not seem to be as
convincing and have not heard from any that it had helped either for
autism/child or CFIDS/mother.
I will be no mail for a couple of weeks. Would be happy to talk off list if
desired.
Have a good end of July see you in Aug.

It was the 1st treatment which is BBF = Body Balance Formula so it does n't
treat any specific allergy I can test but prepares me for the basic ten. Will
be treated for eggs and related things next time so can test that. Though not
looking forward to felign that sick again. :o( But if it works it'll be worth
it.
What have you been treated for? Has it worked?

I felt improved for a time, and eventually the returns were diminishing, so I quit. Like any other method, it has its limits. I think it was a big help to me, but not a cure. I am not sorry I did the treatments. But I think the doctor had exhausted the number of things she could do for me, which does not diminish the positive effect of what was done.
thanks for ther support. I now think that the dizziness nausea are actually a
result of the heat not the naet. I still feel lousy. yesterday was as bad as
friday and i seem to fit the symptoms of nmh. am going to talk to my doc re.
that this week. have you had problems with this? my mom's friend had cfs for
5 years and one of her big problems other than fatigue was dizzness, she used
nasal spray for that and it takes it right away.

No, I never had a problem with dizziness. I am sorry you are still
feeling lousy. Could the dizziness and nausea be from not only the heat,
but from doing to much. I would consider driving four hours doing to
much for me.
