I read the material posted at the link. My speaker or wire to it is broken
so no sound, thus have to read instead of hearing.
That's another thing about this disease. I don't know about anyone else,
but the abundance of broken equipment in my house and my inability to deal
with: broken computer speaker/wire, broken phone, computer that desperately
needs updating, lightbulbs that need changing, laundry that hasn't been done
in a dog's age, kitchen floor that one could catch diptheria from, an empty
refrigerator (so have to order food delivered now), etc., etc.
I bet everyone has their list.
Did anyone say anything interesting at 5 p.m. on Fox?
Just so long as you go to the other site that is embedded in the
text. I find
the written word easier to follow than the spoken word on the show.
Dr. Oz has jumped on the XMRF bandwagon and showed a animated clip
of how the virus sequence inserts itself into the DNA and interrupts proper
functioning of the DNA, hence disrupting bodily functions at the
cellular level.

Well I cannot afford to have food delivered so have to go out to the
stores for it.
I have only a weeks supply of everyday under ware so it gets done
every week.
I don't have enough light in the apartment especially in winter so
those bulbs are going
to get changed ASAP.
My favorite computer is not working and I am too tired to open it up
and operate on
it so I know about that. If the power goes out my phone stops working
and I am up
the creek.
Lets not talk about the kitchen floor, walls and ceiling that I am
too tired to clean.
nor the floors in any other part of my apartment including the
bathroom. That is how
i get the energy to chase after my food, et al.
Note that the rules for living with CFS that Donnica mentions are
very down
on fast food.

I appreciate the solidarity on the kitchen and other floors, the computer
situation and other points.
On food, I really have to order in when I don't have the energy to stand at
the stove or go shopping. I made a cup of tea tonight and had to borrow
milk from a neighbor as I don't have energy to go outside and buy it this
week.
I don't eat "fast" foods, but order in chicken and salad and fruit salad
usually except when I really feel awful.
When I feel crummy as lately I haven't been eating well, just chewing is too
much activity and also feeling repulsed at certain foods. Bread products is
all I've wanted to eat and tea and diet ginger ale. But then again I've had
another virus on top of the CFIDS.
So I do the best I can. When I've had several days at time without energy
to pay bills or go shopping or returns books two blocks away to the library
or stand at the stove, I have to do what I need to.

You have the name of the doctor mispelled but with my long experience of
list that was not a problem once I added a few search terms. like Fox
CFS I was
offered the above where you will find some text (horrah) and other media as
well.
This is really great! Two announcements of the proof that cfs is a
a real disease in one day. If I had much energy left I would really carry
on about this but I have had a long day and it is time to lie down and
start resting so I can get up in the morning, an do about half of what I
think I can manage,
Well good night and take care all your writers and lurkers
because some of us at least should be getting well in the next
few years but don't expect that your cfids is heal-able until you
have been proven to have a treatable virus infection.
Hope I can afford it if I live so long.
Good nite
Bobbie Sellers
Rest.
Yes, really a step when CFIDS is said to be a real disease twice
in one day. Of course, for those of us who live with it, we know
that--but are we listened to?
And why, oh why, if we all just have depression, do I still every
day write down a list of things to do, have the will to do them and
then my body conks out? My hope springs eternal.
And the bills still aren't paid as that's a day's project with a
day's energy quotient used.

At least now the general public who adore him because of his appearances on Oprah know and believe how sick we are! That will help a lot of us, thank goodness.
Depression does not begin to describe what has happened to our brains, bodies and lives.
Does anyone else feel that this is an In Your Face moment for those MDs who thought we were crazy?
I had one abandon me a couple of years ago, but I cannot afford emotionally to write him and tell him what I think of him. I just hope thios shows him to be the dangerous, sanctimonious, idiot that he is to the rest of the medical community here. My doctor, and I am so glad I have her, has the paper on Mitochondrial Dysfiunction from Co-Cure, and i suggested it would be nice if a copy found itself into Idiot's hands. Got a smile from her over that one!
I also have a bit of a problem in that I do have a genuine psychiatric diagnosis, and that complicates matters. The idiot MD mentioned above attributed it to that. Also, a previous MD attributed my problems with lice (the house infestation went on for 5 months) to an overdose of psychiatric medicines and hallucinations. That was devastating, especially when he sent me to a dermatologist who scolded me!
I am once again seeing an intelligent, lovely doctor who understands the disease.
Have to head out soon. I have some suspicious moles. More slicing and dicing. Yuck.
Anita
