Rick will wait nine seasons — or 97 years, whichever comes first — if
he has to in order to get McDonald’s Mulan Szechuan sauce. But there’s
a good chance he won’t have to. The surprise first episode of Season 3
of Rick and Morty lit a fire underneath McNugget lovers everywhere as
they were immediately reminded of just how much they loved that
Szechuan plum sauce from back in the day. And while Rick ends the first
episode swearing up and down that he’ll do whatever it takes to get the
sauce back, he might not have to work that hard after all.

“I’ll go out and I’ll find some more of that Mulan Szechuan teriyaki
dipping sauce, Morty,” Rick blathers on at the end of the episode, with
Morty quickly becoming more and more uncomfortable. “Because that’s
what this is all about, Morty. That’s my one-armed-man. I’m not driven
by avenging my dead family, Morty. That was fake! I’m driven by finding
that McNugget sauce. I want that McNugget sauce, Morty. That’s my
series arc. If it takes nine seasons, I want my McNugget dipping sauce
— Szechuan sauce, Morty.”

Rick and Morty fans everywhere clearly agreed with Rick’s sudden — burp
— manic obsession with Szechuan sauce, which was originally an
advertising ploy for Disney’s 1998 Mulan. There’s a Change.org petition
that currently has over 20,000 signatures and demands the sauce be
brought back. And the demand online became so large that Mike Haracz, a
corporate chef at McDonald’s, tweeted that he’ll “see what I can do”
about bringing the sauce back.

McD Truth @McD_Truth
@AshleyLutz Lol, we need one of the chef's to take that recipe
off the shelf. If we can give away Big Mac sauce bottles, we
can do this! @Mike_Haracz

Mike Haracz @Mike_Haracz
@McD_Truth @AshleyLutz I'll see what I can do

It’s also probably worthwhile to mention that Disney’s live-action
Mulan is expected to hit theaters in November 2018, 20 years after the
original animated version. Bringing back Szechuan sauce would not only
be timely but totally necessary to keep everyone from going full-on
Galactic Federation and overtaking McDonald’s to ensure the return of
Szechuan sauce.

Your move, McDonald’s. Your move.

Dems & the media want Trump to be more like Obama, but then he'd
have to audit liberals & wire tap reporters' phones.

They've had them a couple times since then b/c I remember always getting
one, but if you really want it, I think it's the same meat they use in
their steak breakfast sandwiches.
