Look up your local masonic lodge and go over and speak to them, petition to
become a mason. That's it. 2 b 1 ask 1

At this site, you will find some neat stuff as
well as links to every grand lodge in the U.S.
Then contact that grand lodge and request a petition.

Lance,
I was in your shoes 2 months ago. Father , grandfather, De Molay, all
of it.
all you need to do is ASK a mason for a petition. It's that easy. You
can get your father or grandfather or any mason of 3rd degree or
above, who has known you for a year to sign one spot, but it will take
a member of the lodge you wish to petiton to sign the second spot.
We didn't think I knew a mason at 397 Rossville where I am a
candidate, but they went over their roster with me.A few names rang a
bell, but I wasn't sure. They invited me to meet with a few of the
members on Saturday mornings for a year for breakfast at Hardees in
our small town, if ther e was no other alternative. Luckily I found a
name on the list that I had casually done business with off and on
over the last 10 years who had only recetly received his 3rd degree.
Best wishes,
Bob
