You are so right. eBay is the master of doubletalk, and most sellers
have the insight to realize that. Complaining here, unfortunately,
brings out the fools who think eBay is all powerful and can do what
they want. Witness the stupid post you just gave life to by
responding.
She's unfortunately not very bright, and loves to defend eBay, usually
with insulting language. I sell there, successfully, but there is no
way I believe their newspeak about pricing and their outright
misrepresentation. Many years ago sellers were loyal, and felt a sense
of belonging.
Today the eBay conferences are gone because they enabled disillusioned
sellers to point out that the official mantra of eBay seems to be the
opposite of the unofficial mantra of Google.
