BRAND NEW! Kenneth Cole Dress Boots (Black) 11.5 (Nothing But Net)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280446718367
Why are you spamming your shit here? Did you bother to take the time to LURK
and LOOK in this newsgroup to see if ads are even allowed here? (They aren't.)
Did you read the Terms of eBay - which forbid the spamming of your ads to
newsgroups? (You didn't).
You have been reported. Good luck keeping your ebay and ISP account!
--------------------
eBay users may not post on Usenet groups (Internet newsgroups) to advertise eBay
or an eBay listing that is inappropriate or violates the Usenet board policy. If
Usenet abuse is reported to eBay, we may among other remedies remove the
listing, issue a warning, temporarily suspend or indefinitely suspend the
offender's eBay account. We have no tolerance for Usenet abuse and will take
action as appropriate.
--------------------
Almost without exception, every legitimate ISP requires its users to abide
by a "Terms of Service Agreement" (ToS) or "Acceptable Use Policy" (AUP)
that forbids off-topic commercial posts to Usenet newsgroups.
Depending on one's ISP, complaints about off-topic commercial postings can
result in actions ranging from a warning, to an immediate termination of
one's account. Some ISPs will even bill you for the time it takes them to
respond to such complaints (check your ToS/AUP--such clauses are becoming
increasingly more common).
While a lost account may seem like a minor inconvenience, if you have ads
posted or active auctions that use that email address as a point of
contact, it will quickly cost you sales--and money. Sales will be lost as
inquiries and order directed to your now-inactive account bounce. If you've
set up auctions with that email address, you probably find yourself unable
to access them.
Good God, s/he didn't even take their own picture -- but stole one
from some other website.
Obviously, these boots are NOT new and "unworn". Otherwise, the
spammer-seller would have shown the actual item being sold.

I'm sorry to find you used a forged Yahoo address. I was so much
looking forward to getting into your shoes.
His real email address is in that craigslist ad
Both e-mails are valid. Sorry this caused such an uproar. Since the
title of the group is "marketing.online.ebay", I ssumed that it would
be ok to post here. As for the item, yes, the boots are brand new and
unused. I used a pic that would not necessitate removing the boots
from the box, as I did not want even a slight, inadvertant scuff to
mar them. They are as new as can be.
Sorry that some of you are so upset Have no fear...I will not post
any further items on this group,
<snerk> Is that why, on your craigslist ad, you checked
the anti-spam box?
Insert standard reply to standard spammer excuse:
Why would you assume that, when there is a group entitled:
alt.marketPLACE.online.ebay ?
Why would you assume that, instead of using Google Groups'
instructions to first check before posting? Or to find out what
a usenet newsgroup is?
IF someone was looking for something on eBay, what would
they do?
Go to some obscure usenet newsgroup, search to see if
someone's selling used boots in their size, find the spam,
and then go to eBay and see if they're still listed....
hoping to do business with someone who completely
ignores eBay's TOS?
OR
Would they just go to eBay?

Ah - there is nothing quite like a top-posting, rules-breaking, clueless SPAMMER
who becomes indignant! Well!
We know you first came here for those posts you quoted.
--------------------
There's that kind of stuff here? I don't see it.
Anyone else see all that stuff?
Oh....film11's a google groups user who, for some
reason, hasn't managed to obtain a real newsfeed
and newsreader.....or a killfile.
Google Groups is like being permanently trapped
in your email spam folder, full of ads from people
who have to sell their used, out-of-date clothing.

I never should have sold the group to google.
I'm sorry.
