since I wasn't selling very often on Ebay,
I didn't pay too much attention to Fees

but now that I'm doing more,
thanks to Free listing options,
I noticed that PayPal takes around a %10 cut!
- is this in Addition to Ebay final value fees,
or is it basically the same fee?
They can't be taking around 15%, in the end,
can they?

thanks

In the last episode of

PayPal's fees should be closer to 3%, depending on your type of account
and whatnot.

These fees are above and beyond the final-value-fee and similar.

The nice thing about standards, there is enough for everyone to have their own.

maybe there's a Minimum charge?

I had several small $5.00+- Sales through Ebay
and was charged at least 0.040-0.45
[I'm guessing the amounts, but I think I'm close]

that's far far from 3%

There is a transaction fee, and a percentage. Small transactions such as
your $5 one will cost more. Larger transactions are cheaper.

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees

For most sellers, it's 30 cents plus 2.9 percent per transaction.

It's higher if there are currency conversions involved, and it's lower
if you do a significant volume.

So the smaller the transaction, the higher the percentage you pay ...

It is also 1% more for American Express transactions.
