the first one is one that i taught here. the idea that meditation os
before words... that the old ones, before words and such would look at
a beautiful seeting and say nothing, they would not describe it in
words they would just see it and were amazed... but then someone comes
along and carves it up... that is a mountain, that is a river, that is
blue, that is rock, that is mud, that is a bird... the aim thus, not
to think those things...
the second lesson was about sexuality... that i have a complete
pornography collection of just about everything... not as a preference
of my own... more as that old yoga discipline of seeing things and not
looking away... as soon as you can see all sexuality and not look
away, judge or as i said... think words... if you can find the beauty
in the art... even if you do not like the expression... then in the
real world, you will learn to accept that thing which you can not
change and see different types of people with greater tolerance,
understanding and compassion...
