there is tremendous variation based on
vagueness of your question. types of
questions will predispose the results
to be very different while others may
be conducive to arriving at the same.

your query is a FAQ, by the way, though few
have bothered to respond to it publically
as such. it is one asked by the skeptics to
determine accuracy. the challenge will be
the reproduction of the conditions, as was
mentioned elsewhere, and the variables will
be the skill of the reader, the power or
attunement of deck to the aim desired,
and the conditions of the consultation.

it might, yes.

suppose it conventionally, some specific issue,
yes, like the prospective spouse's decision
about marriage hasn't come around to 'Yes' yet.

R-MOUNT-JUPITER would be a shoe-in, though
many cards might display a non-moving aspect,
inclusive of the Ace of Disks.

yes and their differing minds will reorient
to the correct meaning of the Oracle as such
as reflects the skills which they possess.

Thanks. What are the parameters as to the types of questions that
would produce different results? In my specific situation, I'm not
testing the effectiveness of the tarot since I already paid for and
obtained two different readings from two different readers on the web
within a short time of each other. However, I'm curious if the readers
should get similar results. The questions that I actually asked were
mundane love questions: Is my ex-gf still thinking about me? And, do
you see us being back together in the future? As to the first Q, it
seems to me that if one reader picks up on the fact that my ex is
still thinking about me, then the other reader would get the same or
similar results the next day, whcih would provide corroboration
(unless, of course, all of a sudden, she stopped thinking about me the
next day! :)

As to the second Q, both readers said that the cards can only see out
to a couple of months in the future more or less, and that they were
confident I and my ex would be reunited despite her dating another guy
right now. I interpreted this as saying that the cards pick up the
most likely future or path within the next couple of months AT the
times of the readings (late Nov., early Dec. 2006). However, as it
has turned out, the holidays came and went and based on what I saw on
her myspace page, she has gotten closer and more committed to this
guy. My question now is: why didn't either of the readers pick this
fact up, because the holidays were within the two-month window. Or,
did the cards see even further ahead that I would be reunited with my
ex?

These were my first ever paid tarot readings from "professionals".
What impressed me about one of the readers is that, without knowing
any specifics about the relationship except the date that we broke up
and the names, birthdates, and my desire to reunite with my ex Sarah,
she saw from the cards that Sarah had taken a trip alone in October to
get away from things. This was amazing because in real life, Sarah
did take a one-month trip to Europe in October!

Oh, I like the Ace of Disks because it has a positive
influence on the querent. It symbolizes renewal of hope,
intellectual concentration and unshakeable enegry
(steadfast energy). The card of Ace of Disks shows
personal potentials, individual potentials. The Ace of
Disks has the power (=dynamis) to change a
situation...

The way i understand it is that the tarot is not a crystal ball that predicts
the future 100%. If that's how those professionals presented it to you, they
were not very smart. The tarot simply should be showing possibilities for the
future and it is up to the person to further increase those possibilities
through studying all the cards in the spread and their relationships
carefully and seeing which are the psychological currents that are in effect
or what have you and using them to his/her advantage and then doing further
spreads i would assume to see what direction the query has taken, or what
not. A tarot reading is simply a guide, nothing more. Maybe YOU yourself
change your mind the next day and decide not to pursue this relationship
further. I mean, anything can happen... The tarot never lies, but I suggest
doing your own readings rather than relying on thieves to do it for you.
