New Vrindaban farm.
too lurid? I'd like to hear more. there's a batch of Vajrayana
sexual practices they keep secret too and they probably range
too far into strangeness for the ordinary monk or nun to bear.
hearing it from a conventional teacher is helpful. when did this
swami live and is he related to Swami Bhaktivedanta such as may
be found here: http://www.krishna.com/node/57 ?

alt.magick.tyagi is a confluence intersection of eclecticism.
it is open to all manner of mysticism, religion, occultism,
and philosophy of any type whatever. that's how it was set up:
to be a clearing house of esoterica.
alt.religion.vaisnava is for "discussion of the Vaisnava
spiritual tradition" according to description at groups.google:
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.religion.vaisnava/topics?hl=en&lnk
> Can someone please explain this: is it alright to discuss openly

yes, completely fine, especially as it intersects mysticism,
religion, and occultism.

that would be a matter of the interests of that forum. both of them
are public and unmoderated. you'll receive response from those who
are already posting there and it will be in style dependent upon
their preconceptions about what "should be included in their forum."
>Why?
cultural predispositions against discussing sexuality in public?
perhaps they don't consider sexuality to be "spiritual". some
mystics consider abstinence to be the demonstration of prowess.
>People were murdered by Hare Krishna due to repressed sexuality.
maybe you just answered your own question. that usenet
newsgroup was probably set up by conservative Vaisnavas.
this newsgroup was set up by a renegade neo-tantric whose
personal journey included self-conception as a tyagi and
whose interests were broader than most who are part of
cults of any type.

welcome
(tyagi) nagasiva yronwode
nobody owns these forums. they exist as they were
designated and participation determines character
if a newsgroup is filled with conservatives then
they may try to shout you down. they cannot really
stop you from posting your materials in most
"alt." groups (because they aren't moderated).

SS Says: Swami Bhaktivedanta made many statements which arose from an
environment of an India recovering from colonialism and its
oppressions. Hitler was favored in India simply due to "the enemy of
my enemy is my friend" etc. Did you ever hear about how Hitler
carried on about the corruption in Berlin before he took over, yet his
Roehm (party chief) was an orgiastic homosexual--no offence implied
gay friends! You all are cool with me! So Swami Bhaktivedanta had
some cards he played very much poker faced, including "personal
hygiene" and such like. One face, traditional Vaishnava, which means,
below the belt is evil, the other--well men gotta do what they gotta
do,. And he demonstrated the latter, to his highest devout Swamis.
Read Nectar of Devotion for orgasmic descriptions. In the
background lies Sahajayana Buddhism, and those who are pro, or con to
it. If this confuses, read: Rajneesh, or Sahaja Yoga. The kings of
India did not favor the "Rajneesh" approach, so they trumped up some
Swamis who wrote of orgasms
quite vividly, and those achieved by chanting "hare krishna" or the
like.
However, for his favored, Bhaktivedanta lead back to Sahajayana
Buddhism, or if this confuses, to Rajneesh.
i had access to his offices as a janitor, and guard, and observed
and copied some things which were later stolen violently from me by
the conservatives, or party men.
The upshot, there is no real contradiction between Vishnu worship
and Sahajayana Buddhism.
I will try to post more as i dredge my memory for things stolen,
things from Bhaktivedanta Swami.
Tyagis are encouraged to post concerning Rahula, Vaisnava
Sahajism and the like. Best!
Sulochana's Spirit.
NB, Sulocana dasa and Chakradhara das were murdered for
presenting in a book the party men.
My purpose is Vaisnava Sahajism in the Bhaktivedanta rendition.
