Ok,

I have seen numerous posts on here about how to do the linking rubber
band trick (CMG, David Copperfield.) I have directions on the general
move sof it, but they are a bitr unclear (finger positions, etc.)
Would anybody be willing to discuss with the the steps of this trick.
I already own step-by-step instructions, but they don't make too much
sense.

Also, nobody on here seems to give anything away. I usually only see
responses like:

Check out so-and-so video or book
Pay me 20$
Buy it at so-and-so shop
Watch it done, it's SOOOO obvious.

Anybody willing to help?

Chris

The rubber band trick is described in one book by Michael Ammar.
If you want to *perform* it, you'd better buy it. A german reader
managed to find out the trick by looking at DC - quite amazing
considering that the image is blurry. So this post contains also a
german version. Using of the name was allowed.

For those who just learn to read - the post below was not written by me.
So if you have questions, do not hit "reply" but e-mail the person
below, or buy a copy of Michael Ammar's book.

here it goes:
you start with the rubber band(RB1) on the left thumb(LT) and left
index(LI) you put the other band on the RI and let the band (RB2) fall
through, between B1 and LH(hand) you catch the band with RT and pull a
few times. "the Rubber Bands are linked" when you are ready, you put the
RM (middle) against the RI nail. you bend the RI, and the RM (which is
still touching the RI nail. this causes RB1 to be around RM now. RI goes
down, and goes into the opening of RB1 **BELOW THE LINK** you bring up
RI (which has RB2 on it) (by the way right now RB2 is on RT, RI, and RM)
when you bring it up you bring the bands together, and release RB2 from
RM. then rub the RBs together and slowly pull them apart (use large same
color bands)

Email me if you don't get it, or if you have problems at Wol...@io.org

Anyone try just sticking the index finger under the link without using other
fingers? In my experience, the right band seems to go a little too deep, but it
still seems to be a better method.
