The secret is that while the switch seems to go fast, the preparation is
rather long. Look how long the magician holds that cloth up.

This was on a tribute to Houdini special (there were a few pretty good
acts). Charlotte Pendragon lost the bottom to her costume during the
Metamorphosis illusion. She covered for it by not standing up in the box
at the end of the routine.
This would have completely escaped the attention of a vast majority of
the audience if it weren't for the host, William Shatner. He went out of
his way to point the situation out to everyone. With friends like that,
who needs enemas...
