you tube like all websites and search sites every where went and up
graded more memory info input that makes msntv2 units and al webtv

Throw that MSNTV out Bill, it's out-dated. I got rid of my infernal
Webtv last summer and it was the best decision I ever made. There's
supposed to be something new out by Christmas, they say it will render
all of our computers obsolete. We'll see...

I don't know what this new technology is, but it's been creeping into
advertising. I'm kind of a ludite when it comes to computers, I'm
still getting used to Windows 7. I'll let you know if I find anything
interesting. I hope I'm around long enough to experience quantum
computing, which they say is about 20 years away. I'd also like a
front row seat when computers become self-aware and destroy the human
race. There's a very interesting book on this titled the ARTILECT
WAR, I forget the author's name, but it's a good read.

A laptop will be the best investment you will ever make Bill. You can
even go to McDonalds and munch on a cheese burger and fries while
typing away on their wi-fi. The one near me is always packed with
high-tech low-lifes at all hours of the day and night. I think that
is how super-hacker Kevin Mitnick got started. He used to rent a
motel next to a FatBurger joint and hack away into the wee hours.

This is another site with a lot of new and classic TV shows. Don't
bother registering, you can play any of the shows without doing so.
I've been looking for the George Carlin Show for ages, this site has
it. The audio on these shows is perfect but the picture is a bit
jerky.

On a day like any other, all of Earth is shocked with the arrival of
large alien spacecraft that appear over major cities. The aliens
themselves appear benign, offering to exchange their advanced
technologies in return for replenishing their supplies. The aliens'
spokesperson, Anna, is downright charming eventually focusing on news
reporter Chad Decker as a means of seducing Earth's population.
Earthlings are soon divided into two camps: those who welcome the
Visitors with open arms and those, like Father Jack Landry, who see them
as a threat. For FBI Agent Erica Evans, it's work as usual but as a
single parent, she is concerned with her son Tyler's apparent obsession
with the new arrivals. She also learns that the terrorist cell she has
been investigating may have been made up of Visitors.

As the Visitors continue negotiations with the United States and other
countries to establish diplomatic relations, opponents begin to slowly
piece together the extent to which they have already infiltrated human
society. FBI Agent Erica Evans is still reeling over the realization
that her FBI partner of seven years was actually an alien. Her cover
story for the warehouse shooting soon falls apart but she and her boss
soon discover clues into the web of deceit that exists. They also
realize that virtually anyone could be one of them. Erica is also
worried about her son Tyler who is enamored with the Visitors and the
pretty Lisa in particular. His response to a group of hecklers damages
his chances of remaining in the aliens good books. Finally, TV
journalist Chad Decker decides to get back at Anna and the Visitors by
hosting an honest discussion on the pros and cons of opening diplomatic
relations with them.

With the signing of a treaty and the opening of diplomatic relations,
the Visitors are formally granted entry to the United States. Anna sees
a potential problem as the leader of the anti-Visitors movement, whose
husband was killed the day they arrived, seems to be getting a lot of
public sympathy and support. Anna sets out to win her over. Erica and
Father Jack Landry try to identify who might have been involved in the
warehouse killings but unbeknown to her, her FBI partner Dale survived
and is being treated aboard the mother ship. When threats of
assassination are made against the Visitors, Erica finds herself being
assigned to protect them. It also becomes apparent that the Visitors are
manipulating virtually everyone around them. Erica's son Tyler invites
Lisa home but his Mom shows up at an inopportune moment. The Visitor
fifth columnists begin to organize.

The Visitors continue to try and win favor with the population, this
time by announcing that they will share their medical knowledge. Not
only are they sharing advanced medical scanning techniques but they
announce they will make available to all a new supercharged vitamin
treatment. Erica, Jack and fifth columnist Ryan Nichols learn that they
are in fact putting a drug in regular flu shots. Meanwhile, Anna agrees
with Lisa that Erica's son Tyler is exactly the person they want for
their future plans. Anna also learns that Dale, Erica's one-time FBI
partner, was killed aboard the ship and takes steps to identify the
fifth columnist who may be responsible. Ryan's wife Valerie has some
important news for him.

Having successfully torched the warehouse containing the the Visitor's
supply of R6, the Visitor security officer has already attacked Father
Jack and is now after Erica. She also decides to try and recruit Kyle
Hobbes, a soldier of fortune and weapons expert, who has is wanted by
the FBI, to train them into a fighting force. Ryan is concerned about
Valerie's pregnancy, particularly since Visitors and Humans were
supposedly unable to procreate. Valerie is worried about the pregnancy
and wants to see a doctor right away. Erica is worried about Tyler who
is spending a night aboard the Visitors' spaceship. He is still enamored
with them - and Lisa in particular - but it is clear that Anna is
looking for something specific in his memories that will bind Tyler to
them. Anna is also worried that Chad hasn't taken up their offer of
treating his aneurysm and sets the wheels in motion to get him on their
side. Anna also decides that they need soldiers immediately and since
the Visitors' army won't arrive for some time, she decides to make one.

Anna believes she has found a way to identify fifth columnists: they are
acquiring human emotions and can be screened for them. They start by
checking everyone on board the mother ship. The Visitors announce that
humans will be allowed to live aboard one of their 29 ships. Kyle Hobbes
convinces Erica, Ryan and the others that they have to let Anna know
they're there and that they are a threat. Ryan is increasingly concerned
about Valerie's pregnancy which is advancing at a rapid pace. He has to
decide whether to tell her what is going on but in the short term has to
go on board the mother ship to get medicine or Valerie will not survive
the pregnancy.

With Georgie a prisoner aboard the Visitors' mother ship, Erica and the
others decide that they have to locate John May, the fifth columnist who
founded the resistance but disappeared some 10 years ago when the aliens
tried to retrieve and stop him. They visit the missing man's stepson
James and learn something interesting. Ryan reveals what happened all
those years ago. Lisa's visit with Tyler catches his dad Joe by surprise
and he pushes Erica to tell him about the reason they broke up. Valerie
is worried about her pregnancy when the baby starts kicking and
discovers something interesting in their closet. Anna uses Chad to
promote the live aboard program but he quickly realizes she is selecting
people according to a specific profile.

is prepared to do whatever is necessary to get the information but

himself. She is disbelieving and finds it incredible he has kept this
from her all of this time. Tyler is told he's qualified for the live
aboard program but is worried about his mom's reaction. Lisa drops in
for a visit but has surprising advice for him when she sees Erica's
reaction. Anna learns of Valerie's pregnancy and instructs their top
doctors to find out how it happened. She also dispatches a V soldier,
the first of its kind to set foot on Earth, to locate her. Chad
undergoes his surgery but later approaches Father Jack for information
about the fifth column.

Joshua informs Ryan that Anna will be dispatching a shuttle full of
trackers to locate and eliminate fifth columnists. He, Father Jack and
Kyle decide to shoot it down before it lands. Not all is as it seems
however and it's all part of Anna's plan to discredit the fifth column.
There's more to the live aboard program that meets the eye. Chad is
still carrying on his facade of concern about the Vs and sympathy for
the fifth columnists. Father Jack lets something slip but he has a
crisis of faith when he thinks they have taken innocent lives. Erica
discovers something interesting about the remains in the wreckage. Anna
make a dramatic - and manipulative - announcement.

In the aftermath of the downed shuttle, Anna continues to manipulate
human emotions and arranges for one of the Vs to be badly beaten and
then left in alley. She announces that they no longer feel safe on Earth
and will therefore leave leading to an outcry and world-wide support for
them to stay. As part of her plan, Anna ensures that the attackers are
identified, once again framing Kyle Hobbes for the attack. The second
attacker is identified as Paul Kendrick, a government scientist who
mysteriously disappeared from his job several weeks before. He had been
working with others on a project and may have inadvertently developed a
weapon against the Vs. Kyle meanwhile seems to be playing both sides of
the fence and makes an offer to the Visitors.

Erica decides they need to make a statement about their opposition to
the Vs. They decide to go aboard the mother ship and destroy Anna's eggs
which are about to hatch and produce her army of warriors. She has an
opportunity to get aboard the spacecraft when Tyler once again raises
the issue of joining the live aboard program and Anna and Lisa invite
them for dinner. Father Jack makes his opposition to the Vs known, much
to Father Travis' dismay. Chad Decker once again plays a part in
exposing a fifth columnist but comes to the realization that Anna has
been using him. Kyle learns why the Vs have framed him. After the
attack, Anna has a surprising reaction and takes swift action.

MarloFan, I've got that book but haven't read it yet. I've been
following Mitnick's hijinx for about 15 years since he was arrested
and made the front page of USA Today. After reading CYBERPUNK by Kate
Hafner this dude became my hero. It's also the first time I had ever
heard the term "social engineering", which is pure smooth-talking con
artistry. Mitnick is the hacker-god.

S-4 (Sector Four) is an alleged United States Air Force installation
located at Papoose Lake, in the restricted Area 51. The site came to
public attention in 1989 when Bob Lazar stated that he had worked there,
studying UFOs. Lazar claims the installation contains nine hangars
featuring nine different-shaped craft.[citation needed]

According to Lazar, S-4 consists of nine hangars excavated into the side
of the mountain range just off the Papoose Lake bed. The hangars are
sloped at 60 degrees and are camouflaged to blend in with the
mountainside. S-4 also contains a number of interior shop areas in
addition to the hangars, such as a briefing room, a laboratory, a
nurse's office, a restroom, and the reception area.
Although the hangars at S-4 contained nine extraterrestrial crafts,
Lazar only had close contact with one such craft, which he nicknamed the
"Sport Model". The sizes and shapes of the craft at S-4 varied
considerably. The Sport Model had the appearance of a classic flying
saucer, while some of the other craft resembled a top hat or a Jello
mold.[1]
Personnel working at S-4 would reach the base by first arriving at Groom
Lake and then taking a bus to the installation via a very long and
winding dirt road. Once the bus reached S-4, the bus would drive the
length of the hangars and then park at the entrance area at the back of
the installation. Lazar claims that at one time Russian scientists
worked at the base, but were kicked out.

In 1988, Lazar asserts to have sent resumes to various government labs,
hoping to get a job in a scientific field.[2] In addition, he also sent
a resume to Dr. Edward Teller, who he met in 1982 after a lecture Teller
gave. (Teller later refused to either confirm or deny if he had met
Lazar.)[3] Shortly after sending out resumes, Lazar says Teller
personally called him and referred him to a man in Las Vegas, whom he
arranged an interview.
Lazar arrived for the interview, impressed the interviewers with his
technical knowledge and qualifications, and was hired to work on a
propulsion project in an "outer area".[2] He was assigned to the EG&G
building at McCarran Airport for work, and met Dennis Mariani, his
soon-to-be supervisor at S-4. Lazar signed a variety of forms in which
he agreed to waive his constitutional rights, and a short time later he
and Mariani arrived at S-4.
Lazar claims he worked at S-4 for a period of six months, beginning in
late 1988 and ending in early 1989. His official job description was a
senior staff physicist. Scientists at S-4 worked on a buddy system:
every scientist was assigned a work partner, and workers could
collaborate only with their work partner. Lazar's work partner was Barry
Castillo.[citation needed] At first, he claims he did little more than
read briefing reports in the briefing room, which brought him up to
speed about the nature of the projects at S-4 and the scope of the
historic interaction between extraterrestrials and humans. While reading
these reports, Lazar learned that the craft came from the Zeta Reticuli
binary star system, and that extraterrestrials have been performing
genetic alterations on humans for the past 10,000 years.[citation
needed]
He also learned that S-4 was home to three scientific projects: Project
Galileo, Project Sidekick, and Project Looking Glass. Project Galileo,
the project that Lazar worked on, dealt with the craft's propulsion
system, while Projects Sidekick and Looking Glass dealt with the
application of gravity propulsion to the development of a beam weapon
and the effects of gravity on the passage of time, respectively.
Upon Lazar's second or third visit to S-4, he noticed that one of the
hangar doors were open revealing what appeared to be a 52-foot (16 m)
diameter flying saucer, the "sport model". Lazar initially believed that
the saucer was built by the U.S. and that it was disguised to look like
an alien craft. However after entering the craft and realizing that it
was too small for humans, it dawned on Lazar that the craft was not of
earthly manufacture. He realized that the goal of Project Galileo was
not of manufacturing the saucers but rather of back-engineering them.

Lazar provides basic details of the propulsion system of the sport
model. A 223-gram (7.9 oz) sample of Element 115 is inserted into the
top of a reactor where it is bombarded with protons. Bombarding Element
115 transmutes it to Element 116, which in turn decays and produces two
anti-protons in the decay process. The anti-protons are led down a tuned
tube and annihilate with a gaseous matter target at the end of the tube.
The heat from this reaction is converted into electricity via a nearly
100% efficient thermoelectric generator.[4] According to Lazar, the
strong nuclear force of the Element 115 atom extends just past the
perimeter of the atom, which makes it possible to access and amplify
this force. Lazar claims that the strong nuclear force is a kind of
gravity, which he calls "Gravity A", and that gravity amplifiers located
at the bottom level of the craft are able to access and amplify Gravity
A, producing an extreme distortion of space-time.
The saucer has two flying modes:[5]
A default mode by which the craft hovers over planetary gravitation
using only one generator. Augmenting this with the secondary generator
to project a perpendicular gravitational force creates movement.
"Delta mode" at which all three generators are pointed in a single
direction—the bottom of the craft—in order to warp space
for large distance faster-than-light travel.
It is this extreme distortion of space-time, according to Lazar, that
allows the craft to greatly shorten the distance between the location of
the craft and its destination, making interstellar travel feasible.
The physics of the sport model's propulsion system has been criticized,
most notably by Stanton Friedman, Dr. David L. Morgan, and Edward
Halerewicz.[6][7] Dr. Morgan maintains that the antimatter reactor would
produce no net energy, since the energy needed to accelerate a proton to
the speed necessary to transmute Element 115 to 116 would be equivalent
to the energy released by the anti-protons annihilating the gaseous
matter target. Halerewicz observes that an extension of the strong
nuclear force beyond the perimeter of the Element 115 atom is forbidden
by quantum mechanics. It is also unclear how 223 grams of Element 115
would be sufficient to power the sport model. Lazar claims that such a
quantity can power the craft for 20 or 30 years at a roughly 100

During the spring of 1989, Lazar took several of his friends to Groom
Lake, where they witnessed an unidentified flying object at the exact
time that Lazar claimed it would be there. One of Lazar's friends who
saw the UFO, Gene Huff, described it:
The disc came up around the same place but, this time, it staged a
breathtaking performance. It repeated moves similar to the week before,
but this time it came down the mountain range toward us. At first it
seemed far away, then you'd blink and it would seem a lot closer, then
you'd blink again and it would seem a LOT closer. It wasn't the same
sensation as seeing a set of headlights on a car or landing lights on a
jet approach you at night time. There was no sense of continual movement
toward you, it just sort of "jumps" toward you and this is very alarming
to your brain. Bob explained that this is because of it's [sic] method
of propulsion and the way it distorts space/time and light.[2]
The witnessing of the UFO by Lazar's friends is one of the few examples
where Lazar's story was corroborated by dependant witnesses. Lazar,
Huff, and others who witnessed the UFO claim that it was
extraterrestrial, while more parsimonious explanations, such as unmanned
aerial vehicles, cannot be discounted.[8] Lazar would later take friends
to view two more such events and on the third such excursion they state
they were caught by security personnel who asked for identification, and
let them go with a warning.[citation needed]
The next day when Lazar reported to work at EG&G, his supervisor, Dennis
Mariani, informed him that he would not be going to Groom Lake. He and
Mariani instead drove to Indian Springs Air Force Base, and during the
drive Mariani reprimanded Lazar for bringing friends to view a disk test
flight. At Indian Springs, Lazar was debriefed and was told that he and
his friends would be arrested for espionage if they ever trespassed on
Groom Lake again.[citation needed]
However, bringing his friends to see the test flight was not the only
reason his employment at S-4 was terminated. Government agents had
discovered that Lazar's wife was having an affair, and feared that once
Lazar found out about this it would negatively impact his psychological
health.[citation needed] He had the opportunity to apply for employment
at S-4 again in 6 to 9 months.[citation needed]
After he lost his job at S-4, he states he was harassed. According to
Lazar, his phones were tapped, he was frequently followed, and on one
occasion a drive-by shooter made an attempt on his life.[9] Fearing for
his safety, Lazar approached George Knapp of KLAS-TV in Las Vegas to
tell the public about his story. His first interview with Knapp in May
1989 drew international attention.

A purported Majestic 12 (MJ-12) document, the "SOM 1-01 Extraterrestrial
Entities and Technology, Recovery and Disposal" manual, makes mention of
an Area 51 S-4. It stipulates the conditions under which alien artifacts
are to be taken to Area 51 S-4.[10][unreliable source?]

Critics claim that "S-4" is most likely a fabrication by Lazar and a
corruption of "Site 4", a secret radar testing facility near the Tonopah
Test Range.[citation needed]

Sector 4 (S4) was also the title and subject of the 2009 sci-fi spoof,
"S4", in which the U.S. government attempted to create alien hybrid
super warriors by impregnating combat marines.[11]
