I've been working on a small arcade game. It runs fine when I publish it to
shockwave and open the page on my PC. However, when I upload it to my
webspace and go to the same page there, shockwave returns the error "The
Shockwave movie has errors in it that have caused playback problems. Please
contact the author of this content regarding this problem. Shockwave is
unable to continue."

I get this problem with both IE and Mozilla (netscape). I am at a loss to
understand why the shockwave movie plays fine from my hard drive, but not
once uploaded to the internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Daniel.

First of all, I'd check to see if you have any cast members accidentally set
to external file imports. If the external files aren't in the dswmedia
folder the external files will not be found by the shockwave movie. Make
sure the files are in that folder online, OR ensure all cast members are
internal (ie not imported at runtime).

Cheers
