I'm supposed to make some text edits in this thing, and render a new
Projector file so the customer can order more CD-ROM's. Fine. I can do
that!
But I get these two error messages when I try to open either the Director
project file or the .dcr file:
"The file ...\filename.dir is not a Director file.
then...
Problem reading file ...\filename.
"Macromedia director error cannot open this file because it has been
corrupted"
Is there a chance this project was created on a Mac, and that's why I'm
getting this error message? Or is this disk somehow corrupted?
Any suggestions? I'm going to hold off installing Director on my Mac to try
to open this file, unless someone has a suggestion.
More input:
The Director project file properties indicates 0 bytes, and the .DCR file
indictates 2.84 Mb.
Maybe this Director file IS corrupt?
Thanks!
