Is there still no way to enable GPU support on macOS with folding@home? Or any idea is it in development?
No
Is it just because of lack of Mac users?
It's mostly because Apple fails to support standards like OpenCL ...
And FAH doesn't have the manpower to code for every specific vendor implementations.

nope, because opencl is supported, as are other industry standards:

however, metal is a much better choice.

they might rethink their plans with the apple silicon macs.
