Doom2 on Mac OSX

I have been able to run Doom on the Mac using PrBoom. But the file
contains only 9 levels. I want to play Doom 2 using the same
application, so I purchased Doom 2 on the iD Software website. It is
an exe file and I have not been able to install it. I have tried it
on PrBoom and it won't read the file. I have tried it on Boxer (DOS
emulator) and it says this is not a DOS program. I've tried to expand
the file so that I can put it in the PrBoom folder using Stuffit
expander, but I get an error message. I've also tried renaming the
extension to .zip but still it does not work.
