Do any of us ever, really, truly, ever find what we are looking for?

Yep. And here's another info-bit: Successful people do so
more often than unsuccessful people.

I was thinking particualry of Michal Jackson and the kind of desperate
seeking after fullfillment he seemed to exhibit.

But even with everybody else, or at the very lest, for myself, i have
found that the looking for often changes my idea of what im trying to find.

Do take a listen to the mp3 in my sig file Cat, i wasnt looking for it
but boy did i find it!

I first saw the video (available on youtube) on a local music station,
accidentaly, i was just changing channels when the music grabbed me, but
then found the link in my sig file for the music.

seems to be a function of their success. the question then becomes
the conformance between what they sought and what they found.
your contention seems to be an obvious truth. if asked in some
kind of pragmatic sense, there are those who are more organized
and attentive to where their towel is. in a grandiose sense, it
is also true that there are those who are oriented and grounded
and need no external direction/guidance from others because they
are capable of finding what they need/want/etc.
