May 12th 2007 is both my 60th birthday and our yearly HOODOO PARTY.
Everyone is welcome to attend our picnic on the lawn and to meet and
greet the folks who work here. Food will be served all day long. If you
feel like bringing some POTLUCK food, that would be great, but we will
have some basics on hand.

New news abut the event is that we will be having LIVE MUSIC at the
party ... courtesy Corvus and George, local pagan musicians. Meanwhile,
i am hoping that the stretch of flagstone path encircling the new church
building will be finished in time. I am really sweating that one, as the
deadline approacheth. The church itself is looking great, and photos of
the gilded trimmings should be available online by the end of this
weekend.

Happy belated birthday, Cat! My own dad just turned 90 on May 30; he is
a Pearl Harbor survivor, still gardens/drives/flea-markets/lives
independently, is a Rosicrucian to boot (this trait being very
significant to me, as he was a Catholik convert back in tha day and
wanted me to be a nun and my brother a priest [ya right!], and has
mellowed considerably with the years).
May is a GOOD month to be born!
